    Hard Rock Punta Cana Sports Book Limits??

    I live in the DR, north coast, city of Puerta Plata. Just got a call from a buddy who wants to come down week 4 preseason and lay some bets. I haven`t been to Punta Cana, it is a full day drive. My local here handles all my action, but would limit me to $500 preseason NFL. My units are $50. My buddy is looking to get $5K down on some games.

    Any of you guys hit them hard over the bash?

    Anyone have a contact name for the sports book boss?

    I have a general # for hotel, but want some first hand input before I tell my friend to book a ticket.

    $5K is nothing. Ofcourse they will take it.

    Limits on pre-season games are 100K

    Regular Season = No Limits

    which pre-season game does your buddy want to put 5k on?

    He makes it all happen. He allowed me to parlay mma which wasn't allowed until I had a talk with him.

    Bear. 5K is nothing in Vegas, but the DR ain`t Vegas. Will let you know what Julio says, but I am sure he has limits and walking in to his casino and trying to lay 6 figures would be impossible.

    He hasn`t told me yet about his week 4 picks, but he kills preseason every year.....then gives it all
    back over the course of the regular season.....then usually cashes big in playoffs.

    You can bet 5K on anything in the Hard Rock Sports Book. I used to run it.

    And if you want I can open an account for you and you can play from Puerto Plata. PM me if you are interested. I am in Punta Cana and the Hard Rock.

    Well, I called and got in touch with a guy at the Sports Book. Julio wasn`t available.
    I asked for limits on pre-season NFL games. He said he didn`t have any.
    I said" So I can walk in and lay $5,000 (225,000 pesos) and he said I would have to tell him the team, then he would have to call and get approval"

    I will try to call later and talk with Julio, but it certainly doesn`t look good.

    JJ, what books in Vegas will take a $5K preseason bet? At what level do the casinos "hold" taxes out from winnings?
