It has been 2 weeks now (I believe) since I submitted my complaint. Although my complaint is not much, it is something that could add up if nothing happens now about it. I have not heard one word from bookmaker OR SBR regarding this matter and I am very disappointed.

I deposited $150 via Bitcoin to Bookmaker, I have deposited multiple times to Bookmaker via Bitcoin. All payments and this one showed up as sent $150 worth on the blockchain, blockchain.info being that site. Blockchain.info uses the most used bitcoin exchange for valuing payments.

Fast forward a couple days later after a good run I had and I accumulated into a 4 figure balance. I submitted a withdraw for $1003-$1005 (I forget the exact dollar amount) and I only rec'd $993 worth of bitcoin. The blockchain at the time showed that the payment sent at the time was ONLY valued at $993-994. I was shorted $10.

When I contacted support, I asked them to simply just give me a $10 cash play so I could make a parlay or something with it, thinking oh no biggie I've deposited many thousand with this book and they'll understand this. Nope. They said they paid $1003 or whatever when I was obviously shorted.

I am very disappointed by SBR to obviously consider my complaint to be not worth their time over $10 I'm guessing, if I'm stiffed $1 or $1000 it shouldn't matter, I was stiffed what I was owed.

I really want this to be addressed as $10 of $1000 was 1%. Imagine if I had withdraw $50,000. Thats $500.

Please address this Bookmaker / SBR.

In my submission I also provided reference to the exchange rates at the time of the payment being processed. All of the rates were lower then what was paid to me. Their rate was around $250 and the exchange rate was a couple dollars below that for all the main exchanges (Bitstamp and Bitfinex among others)

And no, $10 isn't much to me, its simply the principle that I want to make clear here, we shouldn't be stiffed. If it was $1 or $2 off then ok maybe a mistake was made but a full $10 of $1000 was an obvious shorting on payment here.

Could be that between the time your amount was approved, and the time it was actually sent, (could even be a few minutes), the price of bitcoin went from $230 to $228, and you lost a couple of $$. It could have also gone up from $230 to $232 in that timeframe, and you could have made a few $$. Is this always happening "against" you?Anyway, would you rather pay $60-$80 for one of their other fine withdrawal methods? If a bunch of folks like you start complaining over this ticky tack stuff, they'll remove bitcoin for everyone.

I don't look after Bookmaker complaints so this isn't an official answer but if I was looking after this I'd probably be suggesting if you can't work it out amicably with them directly it's probably smarter to write off the 10 bucks for now, lower your opinion of the book and only worry about it if another issue arises.

BitCoin is so wild ass crazy that this is definitely not worth a complaint. It is worth an SBR post though and something for people to keep track of when withdrawing via BitCoin. If these kind of withdrawals are consistently going against the customer, it is something to keep in mind.

You don't know if you were shorted or not because you keep using the blockchain.info price as a conversion rate.

If you hover over the blockchain.info/tx it shows you the amount sent at the time using blockchain.info price. That price is irrelevant.

You have to find out what exchange Bookmaker uses before you can figure out if you were shorted or if their was a fee.

EVFollower- If I were to send 1 BTC from my wallet right now to you the price would say $260.25 at time sent on the blockchain.info/tx

The problem is that if you use Coinbase to convert the value was $259.06 and $258 at Bitstamp at the time sent.

You must find out what Bookmaker uses as a price index.

Bookmaker, all books for that matter, should post their rules on conversion when using multiple currencies. Jetwin allows multiple currencies along with bitcoins. Here's what they do:

Jetwin uses Bitstamp's BID rate for deposits and withdrawals. If customer has selected currency other than USD, then the actual rate is calculated by applying current USD rate of The European Central Bank.
