I am being screwed by Bookmaker.eu

SBR Update: The player wrote in and SBR looked into the issue. The player asked a chat agent to confirm his remaining rollover, and one number was mistakenly omitted. In the context of the bonus in question, it was clear that a typo was made.

    _________

I recently bet online for the first time ever using Bookmaker.eu. I bet $5,000 on OSU beating Oregon and won. I then went to withdraw my money and this is where the bs began. I wasn't aware but I had a signup bonus, ok shame on me, they explained to me that I had $966 to rollover before I could withdraw my money. I was upset, didn't agree, but I went ahead and wagered $966 more so that I could just be done with them. I tried to withdraw again after the $966 in wagers, and now they are telling me I have to wager another $9000 before I can withdraw my money!!! I have spoke to customer service and they just kept on telling me I had to wager $9000, even though I have an email from them saying I only needed to wager $966. I also have a copy of the chat conversation I had with customer service where they told me the $966 number. I have emailed the supervisor email with copies of everything, but I still haven't heard back (only been 4 hours).

Does anyone have any advice? Can we team up and get them to pay me my money! I am just really upset right now and have no idea what to do.

Sounds like you didn't read and/or understand the bonus. I'm sure you do have to bet more. I can't believe the bonus has a 1x rollover. If you planned on withdrawing right away, you certainly shouldn't have taken the bonus. Looks like you'll have to bet enough to cover the rollover. The 3x rollover sounds correct.

just keep trying to withdraw..I have had issues like this before as well with them...one person tells you X amount of rollover and another tells you Y amount...it would be nice if they had an automated rollover tracker to eliminate any doubt.

when you bet your bonus & you win on the bonus the rollover is increased
substantially, possibly that's where to confusion
comes in. When getting a bonus I always wait till I find a +800
or so underdog to pounce on and scalp on the other side.
That way the bonus is never for nothing & the end result
is you do get approximately 66% of the bous to keep along with
the 2nd benefit of not having your rollover amount increased
because you won a bet with the bonus.

How much was the deposit and how many times the deposit were you required to rollover? Should be in the rules. My *guess* is that the $966 in the e-mail/chat was probably a typo that was supposed to say $9,966 or $9,666, or something to that effect. But you should be able to figure your requirement based on the deposit amount and the (?#x) rollover requirement.

For example, if you deposited $5,000 and the rollover requirement is 3x, then you have to put $15,000 into action before you can withdraw.

I have had a similar situation to you. I calculate my rollover and was done and tried to withdraw. They told me some riduculous amount left so I contacted CS to confirm the amount that was left. CS told me the 2nd time around that I had completed it already and could withdraw.

Are people really this dumb? You would of seen the bonus in your account the minute you deposited. You should of asked about it. They would of removed it for you in seconds. Then you wouldn't of had to deal with the rollover. Don't take bonuses and you won't have to deal with it. If you are betting 5k on one game you know the rules. It's standard at every book. Stop whining and work on your rollover. You don't deserve any help for being stupid

I asked numerous times to return the $300 freeplay, that I didn't want it, I could care less about it. They refused to take it back. My initial deposits were $1,499 CC, $1,499 CC, $2k **. I guess one of the $1,499 had a bonus connected to it. I have the chat thread and email that both say $966, so I don't think it's a typo, because two different people said the same thing.

My goal was never to play on there long term, I just wanted to bet on the Buckeyes and leave. Here is my thing, call me stupid for not reading the rules, but in my opinion when someone from the casino writes something, then that is what the new rule is. They wrote in emails & chat multiple times that $966 was the rollover amount, so that is what I should be held to, not $9k!

So if you owned a company, and someone owed you $100,000. If they called and your secretary mistakenly said they only owed $1000, the company would have to hold to that?

Stop being ridiculous and do the rollover. Maybe next time before you send someone 5k, you should read the fine print.

    newguyupset,

Did you decide you didn't want the freeplay bonus after you had already wagered and increased your balance?

    Did you use the bonus?

Would you like SBR to ask Bookmaker to take a look at the issue?

    This.

    I was given a 30% freeplay, and I'm working on a 7x rollover.

You can even ask them on live-help how far along you are on rollovers. They're not trying to cheat you.

But toi answer your question some books will reward you a certain percent. So theyll calculate how much money the bonus money helped you won and theyll subtract the bonus money and the amount it helped you win.If a book is cool and wants your business again theyll do something similar. So for instance you bet $5000 on a +100 ML and you got a $1,000 bonus they would take around $2,000 from your winnings
