Bank question
So I got my check today and have deposited. The bank gave me a hard time about it. Was asking me questions like where did I get the check from and what I got it for. Told her it was just from a family friend. At that point I just told the lady if you don't want to the money I will go elsewhere she finally just put in my account. Was litterly there for about 45 mins

Use BkofAma- no questions there. You should of told that teller to mind her own faking business! She's just jealous that the check is probably more money than she makes in a month lol

Well I would have thought that is below any reporting/enquiry limits they are obliged to comply with?

any bank will question strange checks ,, it just takes time to clear
thought about that but doesnt it take longer to clear that way
Depending on your credit score, but u are correct , they can put a hold on it
Foreign checks don't work in the ATM, it tells you to take it in to a teller.
