    Tipico STOLE my money!!!!!

    Hello,
I was desparate by receiving an email from tipico today but someone recommented ur forum and i think it is my last chance to take my money...
well 2 weeks before i saw in site and advertisement of www.tipico.com and their bonus so i created an account i was winning 1600 euro and 5 days before i placed a bet of 400 euro to cotbus(b germany) and i won however next day i coudnt access my accunt and after waiting 4 days they replied today and sent me this....
    Dear Ms Mirmiroglou,

After a detailed investigation by our sports trading department with regards
to the wagers placed on the account and your wagering patterns, they have
concluded that your actions are in violation of our terms and conditions. As a
result the account will remain closed, all wagers voided and winnings
removed.Your deposit has been returned to your card. If any further betting
accounts are opened by you, they will be closed. This is the final decision of
the sports trading department and it is not open for further discussion.

    Best regards
    Taylor, tipico.com Support-Team

It seems that they are trying to steal my money or save the money they lost from the bonuses they gave to uk(as i saw in an other post in ur forum about tipico) i dont know i really didnt do anything wrong i dont een understand their reply but it is fraud to steal my money...please help me...2000 euro r much money for me and am not about to let them take my money...

Your post suggests you placed 1 bet only: for €400 to win €1600. Is that right? If so, any idea why they might be referring to wagering patterns? Are there any hyperlinks in their e-mail to the term(s) they say you've violated? Have you asked them what term(s) you've violated? If not, I would ask them.

If you placed only 1 bet, it's hard to guess what their problem is. What country are you in? Could it have anything to do with taking a new account bonus, or betting from a location that may be used by other people (internet cafe, university dorms, etc.), where those other people may have also taken a bonus and/or bet on the same lines as you?

The link for the SBR complaint form is in my signature. I don't think the UK bonus people got any improved result by complaining here, so it may be that Tipico doesn't care much about SBR and its rating. Fill out the complaint form anyway, though, just in case.

I am not sure whether SBR will be able to help you but Tipico is a book which has a reputation for doing this sort of thing.

I am guessing they have not told you what they think you have done wrong but there are several possibilities.

    1) The fact you have placed this bet from public location.
    2) Perceived multi-accounting (do you have any family memebrs who bet on this game?)
    3) Syndicates (you are Turkish, right?) have bet heavily on this game - German 2nd division has a real problem with ´match fixing´

Unfortunately, when a book decides that it is going to confiscate funds (even if totally unjustified) it is very difficult to get them to change that decision.

If you don´t get any help here or from Tipico, you need to contact Tipico´s regulator. Unfortunately the Maltese LGA does not have a good reputation in terms of helping players.

sorry to hear that, but tippico previously has been 'funny' with their bonuses.
a regular/recreational punter wouldn't normally bet 200 euro on high odds and they state something like that in their t and c's. I hope you didn't match it with the exchange

1st-Did you have the proof for match fixing.its very easy to mark winning user as syndycate bettor or match fixing without proofs.
2nd-Tipico remove bonuses to Uk users and it was unfair decision,so they have unethical practice before.
3rd-You may talk to support and tell him that you know your rights-if you are tough enough you will receive your funds. If they are cheaters they will hold your account and finaly if you think that LGA-Malta will do something go play bingo.

I have no proof of anything, which is why I used the word "possibilities".

    2nd
I said that Tipico has a reputation for doing things like this!

    3rd
You are probably correct, but it cannot do any harm - can it?

    4th (added by me)
Did you receive your funds from Bet7Days by being "tough enough"? Aside from complaining to the LGA, what "rights" do you have with a book registered in Malta?

This, I am sure is what the issue/problem is:
Do you know what Tipico´s bet size limit was on Cottbus? If your combined bet (i.e. the bet that you made and the bet that your friend made) exceeded this limit then you will have a tough time making a case, IMHO

Have you and your friend done this before (bet on the same team/same game) or was this the only time?

If you have exceeded betting limits, even without knowing it, by means of you and your friend betting on the same outcome, from the same IP address then I am afraid that you have very little chance of getting these winnings.

i am n ot sure if it was the same ip...but still it is not fair we accept exploiting us???if u have a seriouse company and accept a bet u must pay if wins not trying to find ways to steal their money...
LGA will answer me??there is any chance to find a solution from there???

    1) How much did your friend bet on this game? (Cottbus)
    2) What is/was the betting limit?

You will receive a response from the LGA, I sincerely doubt that they will be able/willing to help, however.

Even if what you and your friend have done is a completely innocent mistake, it is easy for the book to claim that this is an attempt to circumvent limits and/or abuse bonuses.

But yes, your friend should also seek clarification from Tipico and write to the LGA.

Unfortunately, you were doomed the moment that the second identical (Or at least, very similar) wager was placed, from either you or your friend. Many, many books look for any type of excuse not to pay, some bordering on the hysterical. However, sharing the same IP is a fairly standard defence that even some of the most reputable books will fall back on.

Dunder is offering you sound advice here. Exhaust all your resourcs in an attempt to recover your funds, even if that looks unlikely.

No,because Bet7Days are biggest scam site in the world who still operate illegally, but they are now under investigation
But i was tough enough and i receive my funds from PariMatch(1,5k) and BetOnbet(0,5K) and JetBull(0,5k)-How many people receive their funds from BetOnBet?

Also you know every book has rating and i have experience also,LGA helps me twice, once with 24HPoker(it was poker mistake-which was corrected after contacting LGA),But LGA-didnt help me with bookies like Stryyke,WauwGaming and BetKlass-they still hold part of my funds and 1 year,LGA Malta officers refuse to make decision.

For now Tipico pay quickly and there is no problems with them,IF you not use any bonuses.

a few days ago a Turkish Tipico customer had a issue with Tipico. he takes a parlay bet and the last game is dodgers moneyline but the game postponed because of the rain. the game played with same pitchers (zimmerman - harang) next day. his ticket wins finally and there is not any problem about his ticket, tipico pays.he takes lots of bets next day (said that almost 40-50)
and he checks his account last sunday,

balance = 0.00 and all of tickets cancelded.

the winner dodgers game counts as loser so the first parlay ticket counts as loser...so the book takes back all of the money.
maybe north american bettors dont now that situation, most euro books don't show starting pitcher names so sometimes loser games count as winner and winners count as loser. problem is tipico doesn't accept it's own mistake.
unfortunately SBR knows nothing about euro books and gives stupid raitings. that scammers has C raiting.
