BET DSI security and currency issue

    Hi.

    I have problems with betDSI.

    1. They ask your password for security reasons in chat. THis is just ridiculous and so schocking for security ...
    2. They say they offer account in GBP currency, so living in UK I decided to open an account.

Despite lot of issues to deposit (pretty sure caused by iesnare) I finally manager to deposit money using one of my UK card. What a surprise I had few days later. Despite the account in GBP, and the deposit in GBP, betDSI actually processed the deposit in CNY (Yuan, chinese currency) which means that my bank took huge foreign exchange fees, I lost around 30£ on 800£ deposit.

I think it is totaly unacceptable that betDSI says that they offer account in GBP, they just do not.

I have been very dissapinted by this website, no idea how it can be rated so well on SBR.

Are you all guys charged currency fees every time you deposit on this website ?

I haven't used them for many years so don't know about the currency thing but that stinks. Why not use Skrill or Neteller?

But I totally agree with you regarding the password. There can be no excuse for not having separate phone ID methods. Simply not acceptable that staff can see your online password.

    Hi fablepongiste,

If you feel there was a mistake made in the processing of your deposit concerning currency conversion, please write in via this form and a BetDSI manager will take a look.

But how do you fund Neteller?
I see that they no longer provide an instant fee free deposit method.
I used to use POLi but that a) has been removed for my bank and b) is to be subject to a 5% fee soon

Don't know about generally but at Neteller:
"Effective 20 November 2014, POLi fees change to 5.0%."
    and
"The following banks are not currently offered by this merchant: ANZ, Bank of Melbourne, Bank of Queensland, BankSA, Commonwealth Bank, IMB, NAB, Peoples Choice Credit Union, St.George Bank, Suncorp Bank and Westpac."

Yes, for those that accept it, that's the way to go.
But not all do and for me that makes it delayed and costly for TheGreek which unfortunately doesn't accept AUD via Skrill.
