    Puntingpal

Has anyone got an account with them, or does anyone know much about them?

I understand they are Australian owned but are licensed in Vanuatu.

Are they true to their word that they offer higher limits? Any trouble getting money from them instantly?

They have just offered me a $1000 deposit bonus for signing up. What would happen if I got lucky and turned my $1000 into $2000 and withdrew it? Would they then cancel my $1000 free bet like some agencies have been know to do?

They are fairly new. And I personally have concerns about any Australian business operator choosing to operate out of Vanuatu. But I have not seen a bad word about them so far myself.

You'll find some useful discussion about them here: http://www.sportsbookreview.com/foru...l-betting.html

I played with them for a while and only had a good experience all around. They closed to foreign customers though.

I can certainly understand your concerns about them being registered in Vanuatu.
I have had an account with them for most of this year.
The best thing I can say for them is they do pay very promptly. Every withdrawal I've requested (and they've been up to $20k) has been in my bank account the next morning.
Initially I found their limits were excellent. I was able to bet $4k or more on the football codes for example.
However, after a while they started reducing my bets ... to $1k, $500 and now they seem to have settled on $200. And very rarely can I re-bet.
I also found them excellent for racing, offering BOB for ALL metro meetings, not just on Saturdays. Sadly I have now been banned from that product.
So, I'd say take up their offer for sure and enjoy the benefits whilst you can.

    Yes.
I suspect they really had little option as the Aus authorities were after them for illegally offering online in-play wagering but more importantly for failing to pay product fees.

I reckon very obvious what happened here. Were gearing up for a sale for a long time. Offering 10% deposit bonuses, $1.95 lines & taking bets to increase turnover.

Are you saying Packer owned Puntingpal and sold it to himself?

That could be damaging to him if true. Sounds a bit fanciful though. Why would he have got involved in illegally servicing Australians to start with when he has licenses it could put at risk?

I suspect he was referring to the Tripp family, not the Packers.

You guessed it Hareeba, John Dow, both Junior and Senior ( the owners of puntingpal ) are Brother in law, Cousin, Uncle and Nephew to the Tripps.
