    Marathon bet? HELP

So i opened an account yesterday with marathon bet, made my first bet and won over 2000 as i tried to withdraw I had an email saying they needed to do a withdrawal check, which i totally understand but having sent all the necessary items they asked for, they said this process could take up to 10 days!! Should i be worried? read this forum and there have been some bad reviews.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

No worries in my opinion. Just wait that 10 day and you gonna have your money back.

Most definitely not a scammer mate.. Just never experienced an ID check that could take up to 10 days, seems a bit odd. Other bookmakers is usually maximum of 24 hours!

    Thanks for the reassurance 👍

I sent them an E-statement from MY online banking because I don't have statements delivered to my property for safety but they say they cannot accept this.. What do you suggest I do? Everything I have sent them
    Is completely legit! I'd
Absolutely shocking, bet365 willhill and coral accepted my e-statement

That's what they wanted, a bank statement. But it's a screen shot of the statement from my online banking app on my phone. I haven't blurred any of it out it's all plain as day to see! They look a promising book with all the markets they offer but it's the 21st century how can they not accept an E-statement? All the other ID verification was ok they said

It's been less than 4 days since you made this thread and possibly less time since you have sent that PDF. You don't need to worry yet.

Next time you might find printing out the PDF, then scanning and sending that is less confusing than trying to speak to people about online only accounts or sending photos of a computer screen.

But it's been going on a week.. I never knew about the SBR forums until finding it by chance on google.

Everything has been verified now, I wouldn't normally have worried but every other ID verification has taken 24 hours maximum and when they said it could take up to 10 days that got me worried! Does anybody use marathon? I was thinking of closing the account, I'm having second thoughts now!

My advice go anyone would be send all the ID documents before depositing.

Personally I wouldn't panic enough about it taking that long to not use the book, especially once I had mucked around so much to get verified. Agree 10 days sounds a bit silly to just verify ID but I'm guessing it would have taken only the normal day or two if you had had a normal statement for them?

I'm pretty patient with these things though.

They have a B rating from SBR, which means they think they are one of the better books out there.

SBR has good communications with them so if you have issues they will help

    although too early for that

Everything has been sorted, the customer service was excellent even though they asked for a second id verification. maybe i was a little hasty in saying about closing the account, just never encountered an ID check that takes 9 days. i'd definitely get verified before betting at other books from now on.thank for the advice people

Second ID verification? What did they ask for? Potential trouble if you don't drive...!
