    Wagerweb refuses to payout

Edit by SBR Admin: The player in question was found to have scammed WagerWeb. Read SBR summary.

    __________________________

My roommate and I were using wagerweb to sports bet. While I was making multiple deposits and losing, my roommate did really well with his betting and made a significant profit. Once my roommate requested a payout, wagerweb informed him that his account was being closed because they believed he was affiliated with other bettors and that wagerweb's risk management decided they should not allow him to bet on their site. However, wagerweb did payout the balance he had accumulated with his betting. Wagerweb continued to allow me to make deposits and bets on their site and did not contact me at all regarding my roommates account being closed. After losing over and over again, I finally was able to pull together a nice streak of bets that I won, and accumulated a balance of almost $3900. As soon as I requested a payout, wagerweb told me that they will not pay me the money I won while sports betting on their site because my roommate and I each had an account with the same IP address and that they would only refund my deposit. I do not understand how they can let me make bets on the same IP address and take my money when I lose and then refuse to pay me my balance once I finally make a profit. Is there anything I can do to get the money I won?

guy probably played under 2 names his name and his roommates......took the bonus on one account and did not on the second. took big underdogs on the bonus account and pounded the favorites with the non bonus account....just my guess...wagerweb caught it and freerolled the guy lol

If you both have ID's and a utility bill from the same adddress, i don't see what the problem is. however I suspect you're on man using two names and don't have a leg to stand on. it's not uncommon for sites to not allow more than one betting account from one address but they should let a play know that. You're shady, prove us wrong and make eat our words OP.

The player in question has charged back multiple times under multiple aliases. The player didn't deny this via email. SBR reviewed evidence WagerWeb supplied.

The extent of the scam he executed will remain private to protect the sportsbook from additional fraud attempts from this individual or others.

The forum won't be used as a microphone to try to extort sportsbooks. It's for legitimate players, so OP, sorry to say but you're no longer welcomed to enjoy an account here.

wagerweb is notorious for this. They claimed they had to investigate my account and they threatened not to pay me. I did nothing wrong. I had to get sbr involved for them to pay me. However, I would never again trust them with a single cent. Contact SBR and open up a claim. Dont let them get away with robbery! They accepted your deposits. They need to pay out what they owe.
