    Betstar and Topsport

    Betstar.com.au and Topsport.com.au

What is the link between these two? Check out the odds, 98% always the same.

    Same bet receipts etc...

Same software provider? Why same odds ?

BetStar on the surface looks to be a sister site of sportsbetting.com.au. Another poser mentioned they were all on the Everymatrix software. Lou has worked with players who were on the platform in the past and he can probably tell us about the relationship. Is it just software or is it full service where the book just handles customer banking.

    They are all different

Betstar much bigger than than sportsbetting.com.au and Topsports

sportsbetting.com.au also is not open 24 hrs a day, just regular Aussie hrs

Yeah I don't believe they have anything to do with everymatrix, these books aren't some shonky euro operations.

It's easy to find who owns these books so sure they aren't related at all.

Would like to know though who these books use for software because it's still too much alike for my liking.

wtf does it matter if they use the same software?

I suspect they may have both used the same technical advisor in setting up their sites.

It matters because along with that software they are getting the same odds by the looks of it, like all everymatrix books they have the same odds, you'd only need one because they are all the same.

    Plus it's good to know.

These two books are in a small group of books I use, sucks getting the same odds 90% of the time thinking you're going to have another option.

    Whats not the same JJ?

The odds, which im sure over 90% is the same. The software? we've already established they aren't the same owners so don't try sound like a genius.

Do you ever do more than a 3-5 sentence that means jack shit every post?

Just been checking out some odds for the golf this week and I see several differences between Topsport and Betstar's.

Check every sport, the amount of odds that are the same annoys me.

    Find another book chief then

Your obsessed with this and it does not mean anything

Many books have the same odds on events every night

I don't need to waste my time. Seems odd that the one sport I had a reason to check what Betstar had disproved your assertion that they have the same odds for all sports. I had already disproved it for racing odds.

I'm sorry you're annoyed about it but I think I have far greater reason to be annoyed with Betstar for refusing me access to so many products including fixed racing odds and limits my sports bets to waste-of-time levels.

I don't care for your fight against "corporate cowards" hareeba, you're a minority.

    Golf lol

And it matters that 90% of there odds are the same to me, you amateurs.

The topic which you introduced is whether these two books are effectively one and the same.

Every post I've made has addressed that subject and debunked it. JJ has done likewise.

Then you started getting your knackers knotted over the fact that YOU find their odds to be the same. I've proven that to be nonsense in two out of the two sports I compared. That's a 100% fail for your assertion.

Oh, but now racing and golf don't count? Okay what does count?

If you are suggesting that I am an amateur and you are something above that then I can guarantee that if you make a success of this game, the time will come when you too will care about the actions of these corporate cowards.

Up to this point however it seems that you must either be rather new to it; winning below the radar; or losing.

Otherwise you'd be with the winning minority castigating the cowards.

Just had a look at the four Aus Open semi-final markets.

Betstar and Topsport DO have the same odds for Federer v Nadal.

But different odds for the other three matches.

I make that another FAIL for the theory. That's now 3/3 sports. What should I look at next?

it's not that difficult. they (and others I believe, but I don't care enough to give names and turn out to be wrong) use the same third party odds provider. automatically generated completely generic odds (loosely based on pinny or some sort of market average it seems), no value there. however, based on action and opinion both books do over-write those odds at times, in this case generating unique odds. both are seperate companies.

Funny thread a lot of rookies in it

Places like Heritage and Bookmaker have lots of the same lines every day let's cut it out now

Different books and different owners go to the website do some research

We are way past talking about owners JJ!

    Noyb gets it!

What would like to be known is if there is a link in software and odds providers (starting odds at least)! It's not this common to have so many odds be the same at seperate books (in aus) unless they are family e.g. Sports/Ias & sporting/centre

    Move on jj
