No...zero demand for them and I am zero. The ones now just hanging on except Matchbook and BEtfair.

The thing is, for US players, the ones who are betting sports offshore know that they are doing something the government doesn't approve of, so in a sense you have to be kind of an outlaw, or at least have an outlaw mentality nowadays, to bet offshore. Unlike other countries where it is more acceptable, and a wider variety of personality is willing to ante up at sportsbooks.

So the thing is, if you have an outlaw menatality, what most US players want to do is beat the bookie. They want to crush the bookie, smash the bookie, annihilate the bookie. They want the bad guy's blood, and the offshore bookie is the evilest of evil.

Unfortnately most US players prefer to beat the bad guy, rather than to just get the best value they could by betting at exchanges. You can see it permeating through all the forums. One of the unfortunate aspects of sports betting offshore being considered a no-no.

Yes need an exchange !!!!!!! It's all about making your own lines . Why would you want to bet into bad lines which are mostly offered by US books ?

Right now Betfair is only fair to poor for US sports.

I think the addition of US players will change that and encourage US-centric competitors to make a move.

Of course everyone might just stick with the European based Betfair, but that's not really how Americans generally operate imho.

Betfair has very very good nba live betting volume as well as good nfl volume especially on tv games in the uk

yes, would also like more options of exchange, but would like it to be more creative than the traditional way. say recently I have come across a site betfool.com that allows bet on anything and create my own bet. Seems the exchange market is owned by betfair and few other bookmakers. New exchange should pay more effort on innovation instead of competing on price.
