betbutler - requires a photograph of the person and the passport in hand

betbutler - requires a photograph of the person and the passport in hand.

I sent the passport in support. Sent the message that you need to send them with a passport photograph of the face in his hands. Such claims are legitimate?

I wrote an appeal to the SBR, silent, do not write anything, my question did not want to do.

P.S. Сlients so that monkeys photographed against all the documents?

If you really want to play there (why oh why?) then you'd best accede to their request. Several other bookies make the same request. What's your problem with it if the passport is really yours?

This humiliating request. I have an account with Betfair and pinnacle, they do not ask for personal photos. Moreover, I was in the Betfair identity checks on vis-a card.

The question is whether legally require a passport photograph of the face in his hands?

it's stated in the T&C that bookies have the right to require whatever they want

Bookmaker may require the documents, but not personal photos in the various documents.

If I'm wrong then why bookmaker clearly it will not write the rules?

Not that unusual, if they feel they need extra confirmation on your ID.

The current situation is as follows. I wrote a few days ago to support SBR, but no response from them, it seems they are not interested in my problems.

I also asked for a photo with a passport in hand. I sent the document on December 19. But there is no response so far. Well that there is little money. Bookmaker rated "F". Support says that we must wait. What to expect is not clear, tomorrow the new year already!

hi, william hill just put me through the ringer with documents and security checks. pinnacle and matchbook gave me no problems and matchbook treats me very well.

what i gathered from my william hill experience is the UK is polluted with fraudsters and scumbags who take every opportunity to scam books(online and physical) by obscure third world soccer games and what not and the books treat some people, innocent or guilty, as criminals from the start.

my advice is just submit everything that they request and not make a big fuss.

my whole experience, from start to finish, lasted almost two weeks

i wrote a complaint to sbr as well with no response as presumably delayed security checks are typical in some cases.

then again my situation could be different that yours as william hill is a huge book

I think thats two different betbutlers. You mean the betbutler , which closed in 2006. The betbutler who the users talk about, is a "new" betbutler with other owners.

I do not support responsible betbutler bookmaker. I sent them a picture of a person with a passport in hand. They promised me to answer every day, but no response so far.
There are people who can help me?

jesus i am shocked ppl have to stoop this low for a bookie, surely you can find a better book than betbutler?!?!?!?!???? dont they charge like 10% comission on withdraws as well???? might be thinking of a different book but pretty sure they charge some sort of fee when you withdraw....

as for the picture in hand....nothing new not sure where you are from but alot of books make ppl do this now,i would suggest you just do what they ask then scan the actual passport and send that as well cuz they will no doubt say they cant tell if its really u in the photo or some other b/s so just be extra sure its sorted....then as soon as its sorted get your money out and close the account then head over to bet365/lads/paddy/pinnacle etc........no one should be playing at betbutler anyways

    From their website;

The Board of BetButler Limited has been approached by a third party regulated gaming business to acquire the customer database, including all balances and pending withdrawal requests, of the business. This process will take some days to complete. If you have any questions please email info@momaco.co and your queries will be answered.

A further announcement will follow in due course.

Betbutler Ltd has a creditors' meeting on 31 October as they are proposing a voluntary winding up.

According to the last T&Cs, players money was held in a separated account operated by Betclearer, the parent company to Betbutler.Status of this is unknown.
