Should the SBR Sportsbook collar sharps??
Having the rewards sportsbook has been an excellent learning experience. It was designed to provide entertainment and reclaim some points. We have succeeded in 1 out of 2.
There are a couple of thousand active players in the rewards book. There are around 50-60 very consistent winners.
I'm fine with leaving a good program alone. But those 60 do take out a lot of value that could be redistributed to the thousands if they had lower limits. (Did I just say redistributed??? spit-spit)
Don't worry.
Most of those "sharps" redistribute the points back to sbr in the casino.

Yep...sharps and sharks aren't what they are cause they lose it back to the pit
My point is that there is not 50-60 sharps in the sbr sportsbook.
the real question is why should i take 15 mins to make a reasonable response when I know it will just be ignored

Absolutely. If I ain't winning, nobody should be winning.
Can't today. SBR is short staffed and I don't know how to set it up. I would make that game a PK. Boise wins relatively easily.

I was under the impression that consistent winners had their limits cut. I remember a thread from a while back where a winning player was asking if his limits had been cut in half and if I remember correctly they had. might have been poster thegiant.

Why don't you make your own lines instead if copying from bookmaker?
No need to punish players who do their homework and beat the lines fair and square.
limits are already too low. If your gonna lower them anymore you might as well just do away with the points book altogether.
The limits are low because we lose. Blackjack limits are pretty high though.
realistically, limits should be raised for 95% and kept the same for those that win. that way you still lose to sharps but keep integrity yet make more off the gamblas
lets face it though..99% of those sharps are just betting numbers that arent available, you are just slow to update johnny.

I'd say you can work with that. Not that you need plays to follow John but I'm sure there are staff there that could use a bone. Like Rudy said most are prob getting good numbers but I'm sure some are about the plays. Just limit the guys who are hammering stale lines.
And for every disciplined "sharp" there's a goon like me who had no plans to ever cash in pts and who freely dumps 50k back to the casino/book in a few weeks.
I heard a couple guys units are 1 betpoint, hitting 75% though
1.1 betpoint to win 1 betpoint is burying the book.

UK way of booking is tremendous profit.
If you really want to stop hemorrhaging for your book ban guys like lakerboy. There is a cult of posters at SBR who fade him religiously and since he is hitting 25% or less of his plays it appears the book is hammered by sharp players whereas is average joes like me who fade him that make the book lose money.

Lol, the other day I lost 6750 points at Blackjack in 3 minutes.The limits are low because we lose. Blackjack limits are pretty high though.

Raise the limits for basically everyone, keep those who actually pound loose numbers for points at the amounts there at.
This must be a reaction to people hammering Philidelphia -3 +100 on the news that Romo is out.
