Intertops is a niche book for me, but I give them huge props for customer service. They respond to most e-mails within 5 minutes, phone operators are super-professionals and deposits and withdrawals have been effortless. On the short side they do have low limits, heavy juice on soccer and antiquated software. I stay with them because there are a few instances when they do generally have the best lines, such as tennis set betting and quarter/halftime lines for the NBA. They were very respectable in baseball last year, often when I'd look only 5Dimes would have a better number. The Live betting is solid, especially in the NBA where I've found the moving spreads to have exaggerated movement.

#38The real question
The real question is - how fast they limit you to nothing when you show some signs of winning? That is the thing that is often overlooked next to payouts, software , lines and other things that make book great or then not. Yet that is the very core , cause I believe none of us would join the shop with an urge to lose our money to it.
I was talking to Carl from BetHorizon today while he was shining trying to get my deposit he then quickly said :" We are recreational book, we don't like sharp players...but you are not sharp, you are here just to have fun , ain't ya!??"
Yes of course !Comment -

#41I can't stand when books say "we are a recreational sportsbook".
BoDog used that line on me so I asked what kind of recreational gambler bets $5,000 on a football game (their limits for NFL spreads were $5K at the time).
I then asked them if its possible for a bettor to win consistently and still be a recreational bettor. I got no answer.
After about 3 months with Intertops, my limits were lowered down to a max bet of $11. However, I was successful in convincing them to reinstate my limits back to $275 maximum where it has stood for the last 4+ years.
Several years ago, they made some crazy mistakes with their live betting especially in baseball (like a runner on 2nd with 0 outs and that team priced at -150 next to score). They have gotten more efficient at accurately pricing their markets but they still make the occassional mistake from time to time.
All in all, a solid book.Comment -
