BetEd confiscated my winnings of 3050$

Here comes my story about how BetEd stiffed me and confiscated my winnings.

I decided to sign-up with them for the new football and hockey season. When I entered the sign-up procedure I took notice my country wasnt in the country list. Then I went to their terms and conditions on the website to check if there`s any prohibition on players from my country.
There was NONE, the only country specifically mentioned was Costa Rica, and nothing about my country!
Then I did sign up using my details and entering a neighboring country in the country list and fired off an email dated September 16th saying that Ive signed up with a different country and asking them to change it from their side to my country of residence, which I stated in the email. I have this email sent to help@beted.com in my outbox still.

The same thing with the sign-up form I had already done when signing with Caribsports. They didnt have my country in the list too, so I entered another one just to complete the sign-up procedure and after I signed up, I emailed them with my correct country of residence. Carib said its OK, we change it for you, and apologized about the lapse of my country in the list saying it was a software error. To this day, I still use Carib without any problem and run a balance there.
So I thought this might be the case with Beted also. All my other details were entered correct as i`ve done with all A-rated books I have accounts with for years without any problems or restrictions on them whatsoever.

Anyway I didnt get any response by Beted, so I didnt deposit any money into my account either waiting for that reply. There was none but they began sending me bonus offers at least twice a week. My account was dormant for couple of weeks after that when I got a lucrative bonus offer from beted for a 50% cash bonus to $250. It was late in the night when I got it and I didnt think twice and deposited as was in a hurry to have couple of plays. Only when I deposited and were about to send an email claiming the bonus, I recalled I have the country of residence issue there and, truth be told, felt a bit uneasy having not had a reply from them on it. The bonus was credited fine though and I was given a standard reply about bonus being credited and rollover conditions.
AT THAT POINT I overthrew any doubts there might be some issue with the country of residence. Having sent the email about my correct country of residence, having deposited and been approved for a bonus, I firmly believed my account is deemed as regular by Beted.

I proceeded to play and lost my first deposit and the cash bonus. Then I received few more reload offers by email and redeposited another 800$ on October 9th this time not having any worries at the back of my mind. Then I had a small winning run at the end of October and raised my balance to close to 6k. Then I went to withdraw part of my balance this Friday which was sent surprisingly fast within 10 minutes from ordering to Moneybookers. I had some plays then later on on Friday and when I logged in on Saturday I saw that although my last night plays lost and my balance was down with 1,5k, I had a message saying all my wagering is limited to 25$ a wager. I thought the account was limited due to the payout and now at 25$ limit, there was no point in playing with Beted anymore.
Therefore, on Monday, I ordered another payout of 1500$, which is the limit for a Moneybookers payout. I was just on my way out of there due to the 25$ limit. Much to my surprise, later on in the evening on Monday, I got an email saying BetEd have reviewed my account and decided to close it based on their rule 13 saying that I provided "false information".

What a convenient timing for Beted to "review" my account (just when I order a payout) and claim I have provided "false" information when all my details are correct and I warned them 2 weeks before I ever started to use my Beted account.
They gave me as a second reason that they do not accept play from my country, but there is NOTHING mentioned about it in their Terms and Conditions saying my country is prohibited, its only Costa Rica that is. They claim also that if they knew my country from the beginning, they would have closed my account immediately, but they had all the time in this 2 weeks from my email of September 16th, notifying them about where I reside, to September 30th when I deposited first time to close the account and they DIDNT do it.

Of course, in a very convenient way, they now deny they ever got my email notifying them where I actually reside. And blame me for being a cheat, If I wanted to cheat about where I reside, the easiest thing I could have done no problems is to login through proxy servers in another country. I never done that and Beted can confirm I have logged in only from my home PC which has static IP (if they dont decide its good for their "cause" to deny this too as they deny they received my email about the correct country of residence)
Needless to say, any sportsbook who values their repute, will pay off all winnings (minus bonuses) when they decide to close an account.

I am 100% positive that if I went on to lose my deposits like I did with my first one there, I would have been OK to play and would have been lured and awarded with bonuses too, and BetEd would never have questioned the regularity of my account as they havent to the day I decided to cash in my winnings, almost 2 months after I notified them correctly about all my details). The only real problem they had with me was I tried to cash my winnings once I got limited to $25 a wager. I believe too they paid me on Friday overlooking my account since the payment went in too fast and I believe they were supposed to close the account once I order a payout, so thank God, at least I got my deposits back, but my winnings of little more than 3000$, my balance on Monday, were confiscated. BetEd is definitely not a place for the faint-hearted and you are guaranteed a sweat for a payout, if you are lucky enough not to get your account closed, should you dare to be a winner and ask for a payout there.

If the facts are as you say, they are out of line. Fill out a complaint, we'll investigate it.

    Any update, Justin?

I must say it - its sad to see a thread with such a title gets only 100 views or so.

Goldvictory case made my eyes wide open to reality. We`re a flock of sheeps, waiting for their turn to be sheared. And its not a question of who but when really

I'm not a BetED member but I have sent them several e-mails this year, and they have all been read and replied to by what I would call qualified CS. So I would find it very odd if they did not get your messages. Surely you acted in good faith when you told them about this, did not try to hide it in anyway+++, and as you said you have done the same with other bookies in the past.

The only possible explanation I would have for this is that the payout and/or security dept is not talking to the frontline cs, so they may not have been aware of the situation. But if that was the case then surely your first payout shouldn't have gone through. A weird situation.

I hope it works out for you. If the story is as you write it here then I think they should pay you.

Yes I acted indeed in good faith, letting them know my real residence, logging in all the time from my real static IP from Bulgaria (no proxies or other gimmicks).

I can give my name, surname and details to any Mod here to check against any A book advertised on SBR to verify that all my accounts with those A books are absolutely OK and no book has ever had any issue with me for all those years.

at least he got some kind of reply from the mods here. I opened a thread about globet few weeks ago, submitted a complaint for few times, sent PMs to Justin and Dozer and still no reply from anybody (except from Justin who is just forwarding my PMs to Dozer).

and, on the subject here I hope that you will get your money... if you sent the email you are talking about then they should pay you!

    deja vu, kind of ...

They paid out the first time, then limited you, and then decided to not pay again. lol

This shows their mentality. Regardless of the outcome of this case.

Don't do business with people with that mentality.

First off, I would like to say hello to everyone on here as this is my 1st posting on here.

Ok, I just ran into a similar issue with them. I was playing on there casino and won just over $10k on their baccarat table but the next day, my account was blocked for "technical investigation". They just gave me back my account but with only alittle less than 1k in it. Called it a "software error" yet I have been playing on there for less than 2 weeks before the block.

I would definitely NOT recommend BetED.com to anyone. How shady can they get???

If the software error was in their favor, do you think they'd reimburse the losses?

BetEd cut my limits to $10 over a year ago. I collected and left. Seems like now they cut limits and look for ways to justify their theft. Glad to be rid of them.

BetED have reduced my limit to $50. I have over $7K left to rollover and they won't let me cash out my balance minus any bonus until the requirement is complete.

SBR has in the past interjected in such cases to get them to payout with a pro-rata bonus. In your case it seems you're happy to accept payout without the bonus, and the terms clearly aren't reasonable with reduced limits (assuming they're across the board), so I would suggest filing a complaint.

only a dumb player would choose beted over any A+ book. they are known to limit people with huge rollovers so that way they dont have to pay you jack.. a very smart tactic to scam money out of people.

for me, i careless about bonus. i use real skills to beat books, not making money by obtaining bonus here and there..

I dont know. Im hoping my complaint will help things out. They gave me back all the money I deposited plus a $200 cash bonus with no rollover as they claim, for "helping them" find the "software error" for them. Now, they just completely got rid of my account as I cant even log in anymore. sux the way they got rid of my account like that.

Go and have a $10k bet with betscam.com and if it loses demand a full refund by telling them it was a technical software error that you bet the wrong team and you require a full refund. They would piss themselves laughing. No different to the crap their making you swallow. File a complaint. Justin's on a roll with them. Strike while the iron's hot assuming what you are saying is correct.
