Is Rivalo.com a scam website? [NOT AT ALL! WAS WORRIED FOR NO REASON]

I just found it listed under "To Avoid" but I have 1300 euros there in my account with them ...

Does it mean the money is gone?!

No complaints on file for Rivalo.

They operate under a sub-license in Curacao. You might notice they look a lot like Tipico, but they are unrelated. Rivalo uses the same odds and software provider.

    Feedback is welcomed.

Well, they responded to my tickets very quickly, but now they stopped, when it comes to document verification ... and I can't contact anyone, I went to their Live Casino to raise a complaint with the provider of that platform ... I don't feel so safe being there and I'm worried.

No, not that they have listed anywhere.

If you've not actually made a payout request before then it sounds like a good time to do so. If you run into an issue you can always file a complaint.

Their system doesn't allow me to make a payout request, what I did is limit the amount of bets I can place so I cannot place bets (so I can't lose the money in the account) but also I can't withdraw because they have to verify my documents first but they don't respond about that, at all ...

    They ignore customers' requests!

They have just approved my documents ...
I referred them to this thread in SBR ...
Anyway I would update when my withdrawal is processed but I am going to permanently close the account afterwards...
They seem ok in terms of approving my documents now, which is in very quick time but I don't know, I just don't feel safe with the site, but I can't complain if they approved my documents and would allow me to withdraw.

I would advise about my withdrawal status.
That would be the end of my business with this website, but I would advise if there are any troubles etc.

Withdrawal request has just been made now.

    Wow!
I got my Moneybookers withdrawal today, it was very quick! (1320.90 EUR)
I thought it would take several days!

I am changing my mind about them, they process withdrawals very quickly ... I would give them another shot!!

I have contacted the owner of Bookmakers2U advising them to remove Rivalo from the list of scam websites, they got me so worried yesterday!

I have also contacted Rivalo to thank them for proving they are a great and genuine website.

How can I help you now?

Sorry - I am not sure how Rivalo is now, after a year or so from my last post about it ... you could be right that this website is not a good website any longer, I read some complaints about them recently.

Even though this is a pretty old topic, i feel obligated to share more recent information about the site. First of all, I was able to withdraw my money but that's where my positive feelings towards Rivalo end.

After depositing, I was instantly credited with a 100 euro bonus as promised. I made two 100 euro bets. The other one lost, the other won with odds of 2.00. So I didn't make a single cent of profit and yet I was limited to making max 25 euro bets from that point forward. I've heard this happening in Rivalo more often than not, and it certainly makes rolling over the bonus more inconvenient. But they are entitled to set limits as they please so I let it slide.

What made Rivalo the worst and most annoying bookie ever was the verification process. They required ID, proof of residence, proof of deposit, and for you to take a selfie with your ID held next to your face. I must have sent up to 15 documents but each time they found something wrong with them. "The document is torn"(everything was still clearly visible), "the document is too small"(like they don't know how to zoom a picture), "document is unclear"(this from a screenshot. How the hell can a screenshot be unclear). When i asked explanations why the documents were rejected, i rarely got a proper explanation. Instead, the standard answer used to be "we are very sorry". After a couple days and countless hours in live chat I managed to make them accept the documents. Mind you, I used the exact same documents that have been previously accepted by every single bookie I have used during the past year (about 20 bookmakers).

When it was finally time to withdraw my winnings, i couldn't. The site didn't remember my credit card details and there was no option to add those details. I then opened the live chat once again like i must have done 20 times during the three days, but suddenly there were no english speaking agents available. I immediately opened another window and entered the site incognito. Surprise surprise, i got service in english. In live chat i now explained what just happened, and suddenly an english speaking agent was available. Sure this all could have been just a coincidence but it did seem a bit odd at the moment. They found a solution to my credit card problem, which was to deposit 10 euros and save my card details during the deposit process. This did indeed work and I managed to withdraw my money, except the 10 euros which had to be rolled over once. The money was credited to my bank account in less than 24 hours.

I'm still not sure whether Rivalo is a dishonest company, or if their systems and protocols just make them seem that way. Nevertheless, the three days my money was in that site were extremely stressful and i was constantly genuinely afraid that I never will be able to withdraw my money. Even though i finally got my money, it was the most distasteful betting experience I've ever had, and I must warn everyone reading this to avoid Rivalo.

You were with the book 3 days and from your story you had around 40 contacts with the support department and was 'constantly genuinely worried' about your 100 euro.

And in the end the deposit, betting, KYC process and withdrawal processing took 3 days total.

    Have I got this right?

Yeah... I would not be concerned over this experience buddy.

Rivalo is special to Turkish customers. It's owner Tipico. It was established due to legal circumstances. They're irrelevant.

Turkish forum sites are available for customer support. But they do not know how to talk, they do not care.

And you think it's acceptable behavior for a bookie to limit customers after two bets with zero profits or to reject documents without a proper reason. May I remind you that this is not an isolated incident. What I've read online (mostly finnish gambling site Ylikerroin.com) people have failed to complete the KYC process because every document they send will get rejected, making them lose their money because they are not allowed to withdraw. Also, other customers have been limited to making 5 or even 1 euro bets. Maybe I have higher standards than you, but it's not enough for me that the bookie simply pays. I only wanted to warn people that it might very well be a rough ride if they decide to register with Rivalo.
