Major online gambling bust in North Texas (not sure which site(s))

Just heard on my local news that there has been a major bust of a sports betting "ring" in North Dallas. Information was very scarce but supposedly it's tied to some offshore websites. I have no money in offshore accounts but you may want to check that these guys aren't associated with one of your books. All money has been seized by the government.

The word is that these guys handled $5 Billion in bets. So it sounds major to me. But then again, what do I know.

    Just beware!

Just saw this on the news here in Dallas and jumped on SBR to see what the deal is. This is major news! I'm guessing the Mods are getting there info together before posting.

They seized close to 5 million. I'm guessing some people are going to be missing some betting funds.

It's old news. Bust happened in April 2011. It was credit only.
just resurfaced cause all involved got their deals done and case is closed.

Dream on, you don't think there were some small bookies amongst those 18 people?
you think they only go after big bookies?
us government will go after anything they think they can get money from.
i know for a fact some of these guys were paying taxes on their income and a lot as well.
didnt make a difference. Bookie stamp is the biggest scam out there.

5 million is what the local cops got. Total confiscated was more like 15 million.
90% of that comes from the top 4 people. So that leaves 1.5 million taken from the other 15 for an average of 100k a person. Trust me some of these were agents with around a 100 players.
