There are fourteen NFL games this weekend, and three of them have no lines because of a QB issue. Nothing out of the ordinary, you might say. But look at the teams.
STL - who cares if Bulger starts? The team sucks. How many points is Bulger worth on the line that we're going to see here (with Minny coming to town).
PHI - McNabb or Kolb. So? Kolb did very good last time around. Put up a f*cking line.
SEA - OK. Hasselbeck or Wallace. I get that. That's a difference.
Meanwhile... The total keeps dropping in the NYG game because Manning is uncertain. Here the news came in too late for the linesmakers. But the side is still at -16. Instead of 29-13 the projection is now 28-12?
Am I wrong to suggest that this last game shows that linesmakers are way too uptight about these things?
the 2 most prominent "linesmakers" lvsc and kg had lines on sunday night for stl and phi gms, so its not the linesmakes, it's the sportsbooks that wait for cris/greek/pinny to go up - by the way, monday, hilton in lv had lines on both stl and phi gms
