    Problem with Betus

    Hi,

I came upon this site to see if anyone else had problems getting paid using Betus. I'm not a regular gambler, but I signed up with Betus this year to bet on a few games. When I tried to withdraw I was told I didn't have enough Rollover points to get my money.

Does anyone with a little more experience have anything they can tell me about this? Am I getting the runaround? If not, how do I get more Rollover points? What are Rollover points for that matter? They claimed I had 90, and needed 221 before I could request a payout, and then made it seem like the only way to accum rollover points was to deposit more money?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

When you take a bonus from them you have to "rollover" your deposit and bonus amount a certain number of times before you can cash out, whether it be 3x, 5x, or 10x. you have to bet that times the total amount of your deposit and bonus before you can take a withdraw.

They are not giving you the runaround, they are simply holding you to the rules you agreed to when you took the bonus.

    Chris,

BetUS (and all books) require rollover to be met, or you can face penalties or restrictions. This is normal.

I deposited $100 for a 15% bonus. I did this twice and got the same $15 bonus each time.

Yeah I guess we'll see what happens, but I do regret not checking out this site before signing up anywhere!

I played there to test them. They didn't know I was a moderator. Once I met my rollover, they paid me in 3 days by wire.

BetUS has come a long way. They do not have any outstanding complaints in the last 2 years... I think they are underrated at C- (I'd put them at C+, but that's just one opinion).

If you know someone getting screwed by BetUS, please have them fill out a complaint or contact me. I want to know if my perception is wrong. I'm actually considering re-upping with them, because a lot of their lines are very soft.

I've been with BetUS for a year and have said this before, but it really helps to build a good relationship with your customer service rep. They are generally friendly folks and can get things done for you.

If it wasn't for the John Morrison issue, they would probably be a B- book by now. I have never had a problem with payouts. Like some other books, their 20 cent lines for baseball sucks, but they are competitive on other lines, offer betting on a huge variety of sports and have some generous and unique parlays, teasers and pleasers.

In the recently completed sportsbook poll, BetUS finished in the top 25, tied with Legendz and ahead of LooseLines, WSEX, and Jazz. Just don't make them your only book. Spread the wealth as you build your bankroll.

Its true that you need to build a solid relationship with a customer service rep and then you wont have a problem. Ive used BetUS for about a year and the only thing that I dont like about the site is their lines for favorites. Lines for favorites are usually higher by at least a point in basketball and football, and their baseball lines are 20 cent lines. I think this site is good if you want to take underdogs, because you will always get an extra 1/2 or point here and there.

Ive never had a problem with my withdrawls. I usually use wire and I have my money in my bank account in no more than 3 days, and usually by the next day. wire fees are only 2% of withdrawl amount which I find fair. Ive always requested withdrawl amounts of between $2,000 - $5,000 and never had a problem or delay. I think people just need to read the rules on rollovers for bonuses, etc. before they ask for a withdrawl and freak out when they are told that they havent met the rollover amount.

I didnt even know that people had complaints on BetUS or that BetUS was a scam website until I found out about this website. I really think that people are scammed because they really dont know the rules, or dont provide proper documentation to get withdrawls processed in a timely manner.

I have accounts at BetUS, VIP.com, Betgameday.com and rebatewager.com and Ive never had a problem about anything. Ive only had problem with supposively A+ rated companies like The greek, Bookmaker, etc. that only let me deposit $250 - $500 with a credit card for the 1st couple of months...now is that a joke? what can you possibly do with $250? bet $10 games or what?

BetUS lets me deposit up to $3000 with a credit card and no problem.

I agree that betus lines are not the best, but up to this point, ive gotten great customer service and I was never questioned about any systems or anything, and was never given limits on bets, even when I got lucky and won 17 baseball games in a row at about $300 - $1000 each.

BetUs is a good book to have to bet underdogs, bet your favorites in a different book and you should have no complaints Im sure.

Ask for Mario from BetUS at extension 2887, and Im sure he will take care of you.

Both Betus and Sportsbook have a bum rap here for some reason.. If you just pick sides and don't do anything that could look shady, you'll never have a problem with either of these sites.. Just complete your rollover, I've withdrawn thousands from both sites.
