    Andy, I can't get in via firefox . I worry about what was said above about them blocking someone who tried to get in a lot today. Can that be true?

    I also tried IE and could not get in. IE diagnosed and said the site is up and something about a firewall blocking me , maybe, and they said something about TCP port 80.

    You're not the only one who can't get in. As of 10:08 EST, I can't get in with IE, Firefox, Chrome or Opera. Doesn't seem to be browser related...and I haven't been trying to repeatedly connect. Only tried a few times over the last 3 hours. Doubtful my IP was blocked. Maybe they just shut down a whole range of IPs and we happen to be in that range....

    Williams, have you tried completely re-booting your computer to see what happens?

    I can now access the site both on Internet Explorer and Firefox.

    If you can't get in now, perhaps you should do a system restore on your computer to say yesterday and see if that works.

    Hope you can figure a way into the site.

    I'm in. Here's what I did. This worked before when there was a site I couldn't get to. I may have gotten in by now anyway, but this is worth a try.

    I turned off my DSL modem for about 15 minutes. Then - back on and in . Try it if you are still not in.

    I've restarted, used IE/Firefox/Chrome, cleared histories, everything I can think of and still can't get in I don't get it.

    This is IP related. I also couldn't get in with my IP from Brazil. I changed IP through a proxy and now i can get in. Looks like they are blocking some IP's, with or without knowing.

    Did you have to change any settings? I installed and enabled it and when I go to any website I get a page saying "Proxy Server Refused Connection". Sorry, I've never used a proxy before.

    You just have to double-click the u95 icon on your desktop (if you didn't yet, create the shortcut there) and then enable the Firefox add-on on the Firefox bottom bar.

    Ok I am thinking they are having a deny of service attack, because I just tried to log on via, on home DSL it didn't work. Now that I tether my phone to my laptop, it works. SO IT IS IP BASE BLOCK.

    If you can't log on: You can get an new ip by:

    This allows your internet provider to give you a new ip number.

    Reboot your modem, for 5 min. works for some
    Reboot the modem for 8 hours. works for most

    If all else fails, call 1 877 586 9477 their customer service number. Give them your ip address so they can remove the block on it.

    Any betpoints greatly appreciated. I am down to 6 points

    Matchbook is experiencing downtime due to a malicious DDoS (distributed denial of service) attack. We are urgently addressing the issue and expect to be back online today, though we are unable to provide a specific timeline at this point.

    using a public proxy to enter your username and password is pretty much asking for trouble later on.
