People couldn't be more off on the Legends case. SBR has zero to do with it.

This wasn't a pump and dump. That was B.I. SBR was just an affiliate and there were many affiliates. If not for the indictment, players would have been paid. How could SBR foresee any of this? What is SBR suppose to do? They don't have any ownership and SBR doesn't know what's going to happen. Do you want SBR to guess? SBR was 100% to blame with B.I. but have zero to do with Legends.

Legends is wrong but how are you suppose to blame the affiliates? SBR is a small portion of the business and so is the post up.

    How many affiliates are there?

ydel states “On Wed localUSAgent ( bookies ) were arrested and yesterday the first ever affiliate web site owner was arrested for recommending Legends on their web site and with this affiliate arrested probably means that as of today there will be no Sportsbook affiliate sites driving traffic to Legends.

Because of the misinformation in the other threads. This isn't B.I. 2 and my thread will only be one of the dozens in the next couple of weeks. Plus, this thread shows the dangers of anyone that wants to be an affiliate. This is new.

Roberts most prominent site is www.consensus900.com. The indictment cites a specific provision in the law that makes this illegal. It also makes mention of a commission account Wilson had withLegends Sports.

Spiro was released on $1m bail. Haven't read much on the rest.

TheGreek.com was the first company to begin using Extension Inc. during the late 1990’s. Extension Inc. and TheGreek.com are credited with revolutionizing the online sports wagering landscape while the industry was still in its infancy.

the problem is you have stupid fukks like venditto ranting about how sbr lead people to slaughter again by having legends as a sponsor, when neither sbr nor legends had any clue they were even being investigated, much less about to get indicted ... also you have guys who are overly pissed off at legends because they got fukked by the u.s. govt...like that is somehow legends fault....lolz, like they wanted to lose their business and see half its people going to jail... they arent making out with anyones money, they arent thieves and they arent trying to fukk anyone... nobody feels worse than they do

they, like others, never have any idea when a sweep is coming through one day that will result in so many getting indicted...also, pretty hard to stay off american soil when that much of your business is run through credit/local/pph etc.... but no doubt, its pretty damn dumb for the money of the company to put himself and the business at risk.

Why did Bookmaker get indicted and not miss a beat? Being indicted isn't an excuse to steal. If Legends didn't keep enough money in safe offshore accounts to cover deposits SBR shouldn't have rated them A. If Legends is run by scumbags that will steal rather than repay player deposits then they shouldn't be rated A. If they were standup guys and have now decided to fleece players they should be blacklisted and if any of them are hired by another book that book should be blacklisted. Maybe if these guys knew they wouldn't be able to get a job anywhere in the industry if they steal from players then maybe they wouldn't run post up books like ponzi schemes or be so quick to fleece it's customers. There has to be some accountability..

Legends is to be held accountable. SBR doesn't have anything to do with it and the books don't have to show SBR squat and most don't. Some jurisdictions require funds to be held in escrow, not SBR. Legends had a great track record up until this point. The rating is based on that.

This is true. Legends was taking deposits even after the indictment. At very least we have a chance to get some of that money back. Sux we have to roll it over with wagerweb, but how many BI guys got that chance?
