have any of you guys tried ******** with pinnacle or any other book, they offer a debit card like neteller used to, so you don't have to worry about wires being blocked or cheques clearing , at least that is what i have read, but if pinnacle is offering them they must be pretty good, also BetFair offers also i think, just wondering if anyone has used it , i am going to sign up

Bumping this to see if TD is fine with incoming wire transfers. I'm just worried that since TD **** won't accept gambling transactions anymore, TD itself might start doing the same. I've always used my Scotiabank account for this, though the last transfer i received was probably over a year ago. I'm thinking about opening a USD TD account, and want to make sure it's worth it, and necessary.

Do any of our major banks' ************ still work for online gaming deposits? I have a Scotiabank ****, but obviously that isn't working at the moment. I actually heard that the CITI Petro Points ********** does through fine.

is there a law in Canada against the online betting?

All the UK books,Pinny,Betfair, asians accept canadians, I guess there is no such law.

Canada is in practice some sort of province of the USA,
but officially, legally is independant country from USA.

How can UIGEA apply in Canada?

TD works fine for incoming wire transfers from moneybookers and pinnacle. Have received money from both recently.

LOL Are you serious? Were you born yesterday?

Where are you from? For your sake, I hope that you're from a non-English speaking country because that would give you an excuse for your horrible writing.

As for TD, bankwires are something i've never had a problem with from sportsbooks. As for checks, i cash American checks all the time, including from moneybookers, matchbook and other sites and i never have had a hold placed on them. The key is to establish relationships with the tellers. If the teller knows you, they will almost always let it pass if the amount you are cashing is a reasonable amount and not something they are forced to get authorization for. If you get someone you don't know, you run the risk of them making an arbitrary decision on you and placing a hold on your funds.

scotia has a large operation in costa rica and the rest of central america, that is probably why they are more aware of the offshore industry

try to upload 2k with cibc **** to moneybookers. got refused first time. called **** and they said that transaction blocked because of the amount transfered. They wanted to make sure i was the one making this transaction and nobody else. once this was cleared up, they gave me the ok with the transfer.
i also use nbc wire transfers in and out of moneybookers, never had a problem.

Hmmm... Last time I did a wire transfer to ScotiaBank was about a year ago, and it went through no problem. I guess things have changed since then. What would likely happen if I try another one now? Will they let it through and warn me not to do it again, or just refuse it. If they refuse it, how much of a hassle does that cause? I'm wondering if i should even bother trying, or just open an TD account.

I'm looking to make a deposit using a credit card (I live in Canada) to SIA. I know a TD VC will be no good. What is still good at the moment?

    Thanks
