    Blockbet.net

Using this book for the first time today, also using bitcoins to wager for the first time today. My review ad opinion on the service to follow.

This person doesn't even realize that blockbet PAYS out to returning bitcoin address within 12 hours of games completion. Therefore, there is NO BALANCE left at blockbet BECAUSE YOU DO NOT HAVE AN ACCOUNT.

He knows nothing about blockbet except they are bad....

Well, they have tiny limits (and the limits vary depending on who else already bet that side - wtf?? - and the odds suck from what I have seen.

But definitely glad to see more bitcoin books.

blockbet allows max bet of 10 btc = about $300 per bet. Waldoprob are you thinking of bit365 which only allows .75 btc per max bet??

Yeah man, thats more then enough of a limit for me. Plus its my first time using the site, I'm sending in about a half bitcoin per wager to test it out and make sure it works. Made 4 wagers, won 3, the funds will be returned to my wallet within a 12 hour period, at least so I have been told. I've read good reviews, I dont have any doubts about them, but I'll let you guys know when it does, time frame, etc.

Event ended 4 hours ago, I've already received the transfers back to my wallet for the correct amount. Absolutely amazing.

No cash outs, no withdrawl requests, no processing periods, 100 percent anonymous. With any luck soon these books will grow and start supporting a full list of lines and props. Until then, for now, it doesnt get much easier then this for ML bets on the major MMA cards.

Another terrible argument. How did that legitmacy work out for betislands account holders?

Legitimacy is never completed. It is only summation of past work and as you can see that has no bearing what so ever on whether a book will cheat you and close shop with all of your money as was the case with betislands.

blockbet pays out winnings to the bitcoin address that submitted the wager within 12 hours of the games completion. Therefore, logically, you would only ever be scammed, stolen, or cheated out of 1 days worth of wagers. The worst case scenario would be that you placed your days wagers and they closed shop and took your money.

Most people who exercise bankroll management would prefer to only lose 1 days wagers instead of their entire bankroll. There were many people who deposited a nice bankroll into betislands to wager for an entire sports season only to have it stolen from them. They were powerless to do anything about it because they could not withdraw it as easily as you can with bitcoin.

Therefore, anyone who is arguing against using bitcoin books based on your proposition--would not be using very sound logic.

You are very wrong. Some bitcoin books make you deposit. There have been many bitcoin scams. Blockbet and others that don't hold your money are best since you are correct that the most you can lose is one days worth of bets. Here's an example of a deposit only bitcoin book.

    Anonibet bitcoin sportsbook

Just found this book and it seems to offer everything 5dimes offers. People are reporting being paid out and with bitcoins, it takes 1 hour to deposit and cash out!

boon again on the stiff bitcoin book.

Everyone keeps saying this D-rated book stuff but no one points out which one and etc. I just did a fairly medium sized deposit and it was credited to my account within 45 mins. The email exchanges have been super fast and spot on.

Wow - Stiff deposit bitcoin book and this is what boon said:

I do not know about that book. Currently I am only using anonibet.
Just requested a cashout of my deposit + winnings. It was processed within an hour and I have received it.
    Congrats spencer!

Well,..I am loving this DRAW NO BET that anonibet has. Tonight with Flames vs Ducks that was sooooo easy! Btcsportsbet is nice but they are just really limited in their options for NHL betting.

Guys, take your flame war to PM before another bitcoin thread gets nuked.

The bottom line is this: Bitcoin is the biggest gift to US-focused bettors since Neteller. The people who took the risk early are being rewarded, as the value of bitcoin has grown steadily.

The bitcoin book landscape looks like this (age is a sign of trust because so many btc books/ gambling sites have turned out to be scams)

2 Years+ BTCSportsbet: The grand-daddy of the them all. Yes, Limited betting options, but no trust issue. Instant withdrawals. Positive review by OSGA and others. -107 on NFL sides and -109 on NBA Spreads.Fast email support.

18 months Anonibet: Linked to a D- rated book. Sometimes bet grading or withdrawals take days. Support sucks. But they have built up enough trust to keep a decent player base.

18 months BTCSportsMatch.com - a type of Exchange, true no-vig lines, 1% fee only on won amounts. Owned by BTCSportsBet, so super solid. Getting action is hit or miss, but you get the best odds on the planet if you are patient.

< 1 Month blockbet, bit365. Small limits but you don't create an account, you send a btc transfer for each bet. This idea that this has less risk than creating an account somewhere is a joke. They can still run off with whatever money has been send. Plus, it adds to bitcoin blockchain spam, which is not a good thing. So, if you don;t mind the small limits you can give it a try, but I personally will not trust anything in the btc world until they have built up some trust over several months.

Like i said, the important thing is just USING bitcoin. And I expect a decent sized US facing book to integrate bitcoin in the next 6 months, so we'll see.

Great post with the exception of using OSGA to prove credibility. I hope that I'm wrong, but I don't see many "A" or "B" rated books accepting bitcoins. They cannot profile players using bitcoins.

I am no shill for any site. Again, I get no compensation or any money or anything. I just love bitcoin.

Anonibet or any other bitcoin book has ALWAYS paid out so far. Yes, there have been bitcoin scams but NOT bitcoin sportsbook scams.

Again, raiders72001 equates the two together. A scam involving bitcoin is not the same as a bitcoin sportsbook being a scam.

Waldoprob is right. This is turning into a flame war and I am putting raiders72001 ignore.

For the readers, you can see again, that the same people came into yet another bitcoin thread and crapped on it.

It was in a previous bitcoin thread that got nuked. I think they shared an IP address range with BetJazz or one of those other scum books that was D rated. I don't remember. But taking 3 days to grade a game or process a withdrawal is pretty crazy. Check the bitcoin forums for the recent complaints.

boon- I praised Blockbet but anonibet is in slow pay mode and looks like it's going to stiff players. It's fine to promote bitcoins but you shilled for a bitcoin sportsbook that looks to be a stiff joint. Even BetIsland players didn't praise BI as much as you have anonibet.

waldoprob is correct...there are a couple of posters at bitcointalk that stated that it took 2 days to grade a wager. However, everyone has always got paid so far.

open bets history dead , and account history ticket info too
made a 3 or 4 team parlay bet last night on today's soccer matches, and I see the .2 stake in account history but when I click the wager # to see who I bet on (dont bet drunk at 2am) it says "This multiple bet is not found... You can see your new bets here in a minute!". Also nothing under the Open Bets section.
