I'm still hopeful WSEX can rebound as well as the live betting was the best I've seen. Down to 2 withdrawals, one from March and one from October. Like a few others on here, just keeping the forum members posted.

WSEX Live Betting:

• On "pause" about 65% of the time
• Spreads way too wide (actually just very high commissions)
• Represents one person's opinion (Calvin the clown)
• Offers pointspread or moneyline but very seldom totals
• Occasionally not even functioning at the beginning of games
• Very limited in number of games offered
• Sometimes does not even offer one live game during a 24 hour period
• Will ban you if you win too often

Matchbook Live Betting, on the other hand, offers:

• The opportunity to set your own prices
• Continuous play with no "pauses"
• In some games, very narrow spreads (I have seen some as little as one basis point)
• Multiple games each day
• A true marketplace rather than one person's opinion
• Pointspread, moneyline, and totals on almost every game
• Very low commissions
• No banning of players regardless of how successful

WSEX is occasionally plausible as a back-up to Matchbook . . . if it is not on pause.

all true ---but i have made way more money because of WSEX lines not MATCHBOOK over the years in live betting. wish it was the other way around. just easier at WSEX.

1 transfer each 30 days allowed
4x rollover at MB
$2500 for $50 fee

Not too great, but ofc it has the big advantage that those are still processed within a few days.

Monte, Matchbook is very selective on transfers from WSEX. Many here have reported a refusal from Matchbook for incoming WSEX transfer requests.

I am wondering if Matchbook's acceptance or declination of incoming B2B funds has any correlation to around the time that WSEX sold them (apparently to raise much needed cash)?

When influenced/controlled by WSEX, maybe Matchbook's declination of B2B funds coming from WSEX had more to do with WSEX saying no and blaming or leaning on Matchbook.

From a personal standpoint, I took most of my funds out of WSEX earlier this year; however, I left a few hundred behind and transferred it to Matchbook earlier this month, with almost* no problem; however, after sending a very precise email to both WSEX and Matchbook, and waiting two days, I had to call WSEX to make it happen . . . had I not called, it may or may not have ever been done in a timely fashion. (Also, I have no rollover requirement at MB for these funds that I have been made aware of.)

*almost - I had to pay an exorbitant gouging B2B $50 fee to WSEX, which in no way represents the true cost of that "service" . . . and I felt simply was a penalty to discourage funds from leaving what, is by most characteristics, a sinking ship.

And BTW, there is no mention of that gouging fee on the WSEX website . . . and for good reason . . . it would discourage some of the (few) potential depositors that they might attract.

Yeah, I don't really know why some WSEX to MB transfers are approved and others are not.

For the record . . . subsequent to my post yesterday, I did discover an unread email from a few days back informing me of the 4x rollover requirement . . . and now, from that, I can speculate that some of the denied transfers from WSEX to MB may be because no further requests to transfer from WSEX will be accepted until the 4x rollover requirement has been met.

Based on that requirement, it is easy to see why players may not know whether or not they have met the 4x rollover requirement prior to making a subsequent request . . . especially if several weeks or months have elapsed.

MB's live betting is nowhere what it used to be 5 years ago. Playing now on most games have horrible lines that are player generated rather than whoever was controlling in the past with thousands of dollars versus at most a few hundred dollars. Unless something changed since November, MB is not what it used to be. I was messing around on WSEX after i had received 1 of my 3 checks and didn't really notice too much of pausing. on a small update. My bounced check which was suppose to be sent asap is coming up on 32 days. Looks like it will be another 7 months before i have any chance of seeing it...

I requested a check to be mail on October 3rd of $565, and have not received it yet. On November 30th, I requested a withdraw of $1200 but this time selecting the courier mail option. A check for $550.21 came just 4 days later with a tracking number, Im waiting for that check to clear.

Damn, hope it's just temporary for all the current bag holders. I got out over a year ago and it took me a year and constant bitching, 3rd party checks and repeated threats. So glad I got out, even though I tore up their live betting even with my satellite dish being so delayed.

i just called them. answered the phone in 2 rings. i was told they are working on the license and will be done soon. also told me the only delay in payouts is still with checks going to the US. i did a b2b with MATCH couple weeks ago for $2500. asked for a check on 11/11 also. told should be getting that 1st or 2nd week of january. if the checks i ask for take 2 months. i can live with it. i like the way WSEX is set up. like playing there. they did pay me all i had coming even if it did take 7 and a half months for the last check. i continue to play there. more than ever. i may be saying 'how dumb i was to continue to play there after all the slow pay'. but, i don't think so. or at least i hope i do not end up regretting what i've known for a long time. get out while you can , with your money.

Football season is starting to wind down and WSEX has failed to close out its existing debt. According to the last SBR news feed item on the matter, WSEX still owes at least $171,253 to players. In the last month, this thread has slowed down. There are few significant new payments to report. Unfortunately, the indications are that WSEX has failed to right the ship. I see no reason for optimism going forward.

Their Moneybookers withdraws are also well behind compared to when football season began. They haven't responded to email/s like the beginning of the season either.

Matchbook has resumed allowing book transfer/s after cutting me off previously as long as I end up transferring the same amount back to WSEX before any further withdraw. So in essence you provide some desperately needed liquidity to MB, and end up "despositing" back to WSEX.

Sounds like everyone tore up the live betting so no big surprise. And for those wanting to keep that a secret maybe this will add to more deposits, but I doubt it. The book is too easy to beat on various levels I never came close to busting out from a one-time trial deposit, and am most convinced I am not alone.

I don't know why that licenser just now put out the notice they lost their license. It happened nearly 12 months ago. I suppose WSEX has continued to try to claim being licensed in Antigua and finally the directorate decided to issue this statement. This should not change the situation of WSEX, only brings new light to it.

They have really ruined my BR by not being able to move it or use it or really have any kind of real access to it month after month after month.

They have also really ruined my perception of the industry. They were rated A+ not too long ago and now look. Nothing is safe offshore and never will be. This book is proof. Who's next?

May have to quit all together solely because of this book.

It is hard enough to win in this biz and then you compound these types of problems so I begin to think is it even worth it anymore?
