Does It Make You Scratch Your Head that 5DImes Now Has Ads Within Their Site?

5Dimes certainly catches a lot of heat on this forum...I like to follow it because I play there (albeit I am a small bettor). However, I've noticed that on the bet confirmation screens 5Dimes now has these inline links that go to different websites. Why would such a mighty book need to do this type of tacky advertising? Makes you wonder if this book really is in some sort of trouble...anyone know how long this has been going on? Might be time for me to move on over to Bookmaker.

I have the same problem. It happens on other sites as well so its not 5d and it happens specific to Firefox.

I agree with previous posters because I have never seen ads on their site. There's no way they can be going broke if Landers and PaulyPoker are playing there.

Delete your cookies and cache.....it might be the way the marketing people have it setup so the advertisement shows

    You got yourself a malware.

Under Options, go to Plugins and Extensions in Firefox and disable them one by one. Each time you disable one, restart you browser, comeback to 5Ds site and see if those adds disappear. My guess it will be one of the Java extensions.

it's not cookies - his browser creates bogus hyperlinks, from the random words on the page, with a redirect to fake adware pages and downloads
