not clear what the lifespan was. They claimed they opened in 2004, but who knows. Their presence here really began in like 2010.

Yes they "claimed" 2004 yet no one had heard of em til 2011 and they hadnt even been rated til 2011 and considering that 80+% of their customers signed up through SBR it mustve been an awfully small book before 2011....but regardless instantly they're rated a B in a few months in 2011...just as instantly they're out of business in 2012 with 1.5 million outstanding

Theres been so many lies told by SBR and BetIslands that I cant even guess what the truth is...I trust the email I got saying a Nigerian prince needs help getting money out of the country more than I do SBR right now

May be stop taking bonuses bro... Seriously, if I bet with a local guy or in Vegas no one is offering me free money. Greedy guys like you are why BI took so many down. They feed off that greed because they are the scum of the earth. You want to be a bonus whore, you get treated like a bonus whore with those high rollovers. Why are you complaining about it? I have never taken a bonus in my life and deal only with guys who pay. You don't hear me complaining because I don't deal with scum. One question, why would a book intend on paying you back? Do they owe you something when you send money?

Of course BetIslands was not around in 2004, nor 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009. I believe they started in 2010.

Yea I know but in an effort to never tell the truth their motto was "You play, we pay! Paying since 2004".

I used to think it meant BetIslands had been around paying winners since 2004 but Jon Kreta informed me it just meant he was paying his mom rent to live in her basement since 2004

BetIslands was an URL under possession of Jazz around 2004... many strong brands bought up Urlīs around that time to protect similar brands from poaching (a pirate or renegade could throw up a site called JazzSports or 5Dimessportsbook and with good SEO poach potential traffic and customers) as well as establishing an URL registration date to be used at a later time claiming earlier brand origin and or having availble brand Urlīs on hand for immediate business oppurtunity leverage e.g. new backer and or investor wants to start a book, here you go we are all ready with your site and we can link it into our backend... are you guys starting to get the picture?

So paying since 2004 is bullshit but owning the URL since 2004 is accurate....alrighty

Their new motto is paying from 2011-2012, robbing since 2012

The name Betislands (abc islands) came from the Robbie McFail (APEX/*****) page book. Wild the folks at SBR didn't pick it apart. Jon was working for BetPhoenix in 2009 if you're paying attention to the post here.

I always thought WSEX was a well rounded book... many years ago. I do remember they were an A Book back in the day... again... many years ago. Made 1 deposit with them... lost all the cash. Never used Cascade. But my point is... if I laid money on a prop that said.. which book is most likely to NEVER GO OUT OF BUSINESS... i would of said WSEX. For some reason they clicked with me as a solid book. I just had no luck winning with them. So, again... I believe any book could walk away with your money at any time... you can't really hold SBR accountable... or have a grudge with them. If 5D goes out of business tomorrow I lose 5 figures... but that's the chance I take.

The thing is SBR is the whole reason BetIslands even existed! Almost no one would've ever signed up at that dump without SBRs constant promotion/banners/rating/bullshit

Top books like 5Dimes, Bookmaker, Heritage etc exist on their own and absolutely SBR would not be accountable if they went under...I would play at those books with or without SBRs "help" so how could I blame them but BetIslands is an entirely different story

Personally I didnt lose a cent to the BetIslands fiasco but I still feel SBR is partly responsible and should do everything they can to step up and help out the players in this situation

Funny thing about URLīs and Costa Rica... is staff have a bad habit of letting things slip. Like multi dime payouts when rollover not met, incomplete IT setup where it takes 3 to 4 visits to get all the correct software programs installed and what is applicable to this thread is URL renewal. They can expire and hopefully someone catches it before another scoops it up...it happens. If expired and renewed it is harder to confirm the original date no matter how hard you try, or obtained data is technically just not accurate... it is someones word or cached data on a server that goes back only as far as it goes back.
