Reason for cease of Sportsbook.com complaints?

There hasn't been one in months.

Is there a reason for this? Did they get new management or something?

    Tomato wants to know!

I got a similar one from betusa.com today but it wasn't quite as friendly.

This line from chat sums it up.

Alex Sanders: It will not be reopened, by management decision.
    ME: what about my balance
Alex Sanders: There is no balance, at least not anymore.

Durito what was the reason for this? There has to be something that happened either in the past that made this happen or something that you currently did. You had just been paid last week from them so it seems like this was not the first email you got on this issue. Thanks for your help....

And nothing new. In fact, I haven't even been winning for a couple months. Though I was up about 20k on the year.

did you ever have anything sent to you about taking bonus in the past ... And you never had another account shut down or limited?

It just seems stange to me to be honest. Although I'll take you at your word. ..... 20K is very very small there HAS to be something else that you are not sharing with us...

    "Dear David,

Durito there had to be an email before this. Why would they write remain inactive. If this was the first email they would have said we are making your account inactive.

You won 20K you have never been limited in any of sportsbook.com books in the past and they shut down the account? It just doesn't seem right.
Where you doing something in the gray area at all? Just betting and you made 20K and they shut you down?

If you say so that is scary if its true. You have no need to lie so I guess I believe you just seems very strange that is such a small amount of money. There has to be SOMETHING else that is being left out of the story. I know guys who have taken WAY more money and they get told they can't take bonus'. Never shut down 100% from Jazzette....that sucks

Good luck and I hope you get your money. let us know. Also if you havne't in the past open a sportsbetting account you can make another 20K in 3 months before they shut you down there....they always pay just don't past post

That's it. Get over it. There were no earlier emails from that at all except one that cut my wnba betting limits in half.

Betusa mgmt operates mostly separately from jazzette -- they don't steal... they've already sent what was left in my account to use my wallet, no response on what they are doing with my pending future wagers though

The whole thing is irrelevant to me anyway as they'd cut my limits to $100 on everything worthwhile, I was pulling out anyway.

Good to hear they sent your balance already. I got the same email and my live chat session made it seem like they were going to stiff me out of my balance. But the later email requested fresh documents to process a withdraw.

My limits had already been cut to $50 also, but I was still betting a few things at those limits.

    durito,

Are you and David Ortiz buddies? You both need to come clean. I do believe betusa or any other jazette book will cut your limits, shut you down, etc. but not without warning. I would bet big $$ that you're not coming 100% clean. The beauty of this forum is for fellow players to share the pros and cons of sportsbooks in the industry.

The one problem I have with posters is they're always looking to fabricate a bit of their story rather than reveal exactly what happened.

Big Papi and Durito need to come clean!!!

Lol, jazettes cut limits like madmen if you show a pulse. I ended up on 5% soccer limits after MY FIRST SOCCER BET. They've cut a bunch of my limits on other stuff, and other people I know, they've cut a bunch of their limits as well.

Less and less people play there because of their past history of theft. Tomato needs to "catch-up" on recent events.

    TomCowley,

Jazzette only cut your limits because you've beat them at other books which they provide customer service for. There is no way you suddenly showed up at a jazette book, made a few bucks on soccer and they shut you down. I don't believe you for one second. Again, come clean.

The problem with sports forums is so many have stories which they claim they never did anything wrong. I just think that more times than not the players earnings may be legit but there is almost always more than what meets the readers eye.

Folks my advice is to tell the whole story or don't bother writing anything. All you're doing is scaring people away from select books often for no reason.

I would highly recommend any wise guy in the world to take their action to a jazette book.

God you're a moron. The only way you can have your limits cut is if you've previously had your limits cut!??!?! See the problem with that logic? (Actually, I'm sure you don't, so I'll spell it out.. how did limits get cut the first time?)

If you bet a soccer game for their limit and the line move 50 cents, nearly any rec book will chop your limits if they notice.

Dude honestly you are full of crap. You bet one game and they cut your limits? Come on just a LIE. What is the real story. I have bet MANY soccer games were the line was off some were no actioned some were paid some lost....all max bets

Sportsbook.com would in no way cut your limits after one bet you are full of crap.

Durito bro you are not telling the whole story. Every time I get more out of you it would be a help to everyone if we knew the entire story they don't shut guys down for what you claim. 20K come on guy thats nothing.....

tell the whole story..betting WNBA? You got limited on those pussy 1100 limits? What did you go 15-8 making 6000 dollars...They limited you for that?

You are a moron. This place pays faster then a book and its ez to make money. my guess is you NEVER make money so it shouldn't matter where you play. Sportsbook.com is not a shit book. Bookmaker now that is a shit book. 20 cent lines on baseball and you have to pay for withdrawals. yeah thats a great place!

All of the Jazette books will limit you at some point if you are hitting slow lines and taking them to the cleaners.

The "corporate-owned" books like Sports.com and Sportsbook.com will let you play longer before they limit you, whereas the "white labels" will usually limit you faster and more severely (since the owners of the white labels are more attentive to the specific winning customers that they have).

And generally, if you're hitting them hard on props and obscure stuff, they will limit you faster than if you're betting the bread-and-butter stuff like NFL and NBA sides.

As far as the current lack of complaints, there are 2 reasons:

    1. They are currently paying people very fast, through multiple withdrawal methods.
    2. They haven't had any recent mass confiscations, like the correlated parlay incident and the mass bonus confiscation incident a few years back.

if you mess with sportsbook.com they're going to screw you but if you play legitimately nothing is going to happen.
