Raiders, I get what your saying here, but I think your forgetting why recent events take on a whole new level of frustration with players. SBR was the
main marketing platform for BetIslands. SBR showed its ugly hand with not only collusion, but more importantly showing players a two-faced system. The second point proves hypocrisy with little concern for its viewers and i doubt any watchdog site looks good after its viewers see its evil under belly.
Please read the SBR Scam content to showcase what I'm referring too-
http://www.sportsbookreview.com/sportsbook/scams/ After reading it, how much does that sound like BetIslands.
I agree, other sites like Sportsbook Advisors, EOG, Covers and RX also pitched lame books like Lazer Wager, Bet911, Lay104, BetPanam, and a slew of other crap books. Indeed, those so called watch dog websites continue to thrive after serious fiascos, but in every case players and the industry got hurt.
My point is this, lots and lots of SBR players got scammed by BI because they understood it to be a safe place to bet and that is why you see its ugly ramifications. It's unfortunate for everyone involved, but an easy book to beat ain't gonna be easy anymore because its gonna be gone.
The guy with the last laugh is the guy who ran it into the ground. Everyone who got sucked into bed with him is left picking up the pieces.
