What is your balance at BetIslands?

Currently I have $633, had over $17,000 after March Madness. So in that respect, suppose I'm lucky. Hope I'm reunited with my funds at some point.

My balance was $6,521..i say was instead of is because they are finished and my money is gone with them..I have to ask you because of your last comment about hoping you will be reunited with your funds..do you think you have any chance at all of ever seeing a single penny of that money?

It's probably a slim chance & Slim just skipped town. But I have some hope, since the website is still up & Ryan Rossi is still there saying he's working on getting players paid. I may try to gamble & lose my $633 balance, then bet the opposite side in my Bookmaker account. Maybe I can salvage something that way, but with my luck all my BetIslands bets will win.

Hedging out slowing might be the way to go. You'll end some juice but better than eating the whole balance .

$1,245... But I consider myself somewhat lucky because I cashed out 2k shortly before BI and SBR bought a house and threw their hookers n coke party with the rest of it.

That's a hell of a gesture by Walker and Dozer after all the money they collected on their affiliate scam that they get away scot free on!!!!!!!!

Their $50 Wal Mart gift card sells for 1168 points. That's barely more than 4c per point. They essentially offered you just over $400 for your lost 10K thanks to there affiliate scam and lack of due diligence like people stupidly trusted. I lost just under 10k myself

imo you only hedge when you're guaranteed to get paid. doing this will just compound your problems even more. i say eat the loss for now and hope for some kinda resolution but i just think you're risking of a bigger hole.

If you win you will be upset because now you're not getting paid even more. If you lose you will be upset and blame it on "stupid plays" Lose-lose situation and better to be non-active.

Playing also encourages Ryan or whoever is running this thing hoping people will blow the money back. Just leave your balance idle and watch and see what happens over the next few weeks.

Enough that I will have to skip Christmas. What makes me angriest is that I made 6 deposits with them and never requested one payout. I had been losing to them since opening my account last July but turned it around in the last month. Recouped all my lost money and then some. Was waiting until after the bowl games to request my first payout from them. Alas the story of my gambling life. Some people just aren't meant to acquire money the easy way and I am definitely one of them.

I use Heritage for my real bets so if I lose its not like its real money at least.

exactly, we all in a shitty situation already. hedging could just make things much worse like that guy in vegas with oddsmaker.

Exactly. Good advice. I am not going to place another wager with them and will let my balance sit there until they pay or close shop. No way will I participate in a make believe charade that is nothing other than a lose-lose proposition. Hopefully everyone with a balance will abstain from further wagering. Perhaps that will serve as an incentive for BI or someone to resolve our payments issue. I won't hold my breath but at least it is some kind of leverage we can assert.

$0. When they started calling me a year + ago 3-5 times per week begging for deposits, I bailed.

I haven't been offshore in over 12-18 months. Still withdrawaing from Legends and Mania but I can't see any reason at all to put money offshore anymore.

Never saw a book go to F from B so fast. My balance 1682 luckily I didn't buy Christmas presents yet, this certainly lowered my Christmas budget.

Aces Gold, after NE beat the St. Louis Rams in the Super Bowl closed down the next day I had 36,000 there, a buddy had 86,000 and my brother 63,000.

Hopefully some big book will offer a deal to those of us who were stiffed.
I had about 2400 in Camelot about 10 years ago when they closed, the owner made a deal with Olympic to take all the accounts over & Olympic put 2000 in new account so I only lost less than 500!
