Not sure you follow what I am saying. I am not arguing against blasting BM publicly nor against insisting to be paid in BTC. What I am saying is that you should never admit publicly that you intend to break the law. Especially when the entity you are blasting is likely reading this statement and has enough of your personal information to make an anonymous complaint to one of the most viscous enforcement agencies in the country. -

If they send 230k to my bank account im loosing like 60k in taxes. Im gonna tell them I want it in bitcoin which is how i deposited. If they wanna make sure its me then send a small amount and then the rest in btc. But this is great news nonetheless I bet they was feelin that sqeeze
Asking, demanding or threatening anything at this point is unlikely to help. Bookmaker hold licenses in jurisdictions that impose proper KYC guidelines on them. The more noise you make about it, the less likely the KYC people will be to overlook anything. As they might end up questioned about it.
I think you are stuck with having to take at least a few payments this way.
Once those have been processed I suggest you go back to them again and ask for the change to Bitcoin, after they can show that a significant amount of money has gone to an actual bank account in the right name.Leave a comment:

I would completely disagree with that notion. After a week of WagerWeb attempting to stiff me nearly 40K from my parlay win of 89K. I hit the boards hard and their customer service number to no end demanding they pay me in full or this decision will cost them a hell of a lot more money than what they are skimming off me. I personally like this approach better from experience, but you can assume what may be better hypothetically.
It's definitely not always the right course of action. And in some cases it ruins any chance of reasonable negotiation.
A last resort, when it's clear, is my opinion.Last edited by Optional; 07-25-24, 11:02 AM.Leave a comment:

We have seen several new posters over recent months making a concerted effort to buy lots of BM/JB accounts and signup gnomes. Way more intense about it than I have seen before.
And suddenly Bookmaker is nailing a bunch of people.
The truth is out there, but I am not sure that you know what it is this time.
Be careful about who you rattle cages for, for your own sake.Leave a comment:

Not sure it is a good idea to raise hell to get paid, give that entity all of your personal details, and then state you want to avoid paying your taxes.
I would strongly suggest that if you get paid consider yourself lucky and pay your taxes. You are dealing with a different type of entity here who has no problem morally with destroying you.Leave a comment:

My net win is a lot and if i keep it in btc I can drip it into my account as needed or even sell it for cash. Not to mention all the other issues that 25k wire per week will cause with my bank asking questions. If they wanna make sure its me then they dont gotta send the whole thing, thats a very reasonable compromiseLeave a comment:

Just FYI, you can off-set Gambling Income with Gambling Loss. There are a few steps involved (and you need to Itemize) -- but if your Net Win on the year is $50k (for example), you'd only pay tax on the $50k.Leave a comment:

Congrats on the progress. Well, I hope BM's request for banking information is progress, and not a delay tactic.
Not sure how much leverage you have on the Payment method. As far as the book is concerned, $25k is $25k --- they're not responsible for people paying (or not paying) tax.
And I've done it all since 2019 -- paid tax, received a 1099-K, a 1099-MISC, etc. It is a pain in the butt. But you're "supposed" to file & report anyways.Leave a comment:

Tushy, what is going to be your course of action if you get severely limited or dropped by the domestic books?
If the offshores are resorting to bush league tactics then that's going to put the pinch on players who swing big and win.Leave a comment:

That was not very bright to share your private PIN number to the internet along with your account number. I understand you were trying to show us your balance, those other two items should’ve been blacked out.Leave a comment:

Yeah that makes sense man I wish i woulda now just didnt think to at the time. Im def not lying about the balance and will post it if i ever get access to it again. I did post all the emails and does it seem right to you that they ask for video calls and i say ok and then they never do it? Why they asking in the first placeLeave a comment:

I did everything they asked besides showing a utility bill of my text now number. Its like they are cherry pickin the one thing that i cant provide and focusing on that and ignoring everything else. I cant be the only person who signs up for gambling sites without their real number? And even so, that justifies 3 weeks of account disabled and poor communication? It aint making senseLeave a comment:

Look Stephon, all jokes aside & I hope this works out for you but when you have a sizable balance, it's in your best interest to screenshot every bet & don't delete it even after it posts but only when you're getting consistently paid out. That's the only proof you have when you're dealing with an unregulated offshore book regardless of their reputation. (I played at BM for several years without an issue until NY regulated sports betting in 2022). Never ran up a balance as high as yours so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt & take you at face value.
* Even at DraftKings, there's no way I'm not screenshotting a bet like this (with the reference #) just in case there are any irregularities in terms of it being graded a winner & reflected in my balance. Short story longer, screenshot everything pertinent.

Not to get off the weird tangent, but do you find it weird that he posted what seems to be his entire chat log, but nary 1 pic of said 230k balance? (might've been more helpful for young Mr. Alston to actually provide documentation regarding wagering/ balance transactions before they locked his account essentially dumping all that data into a "virtual" shredder).Leave a comment:

Well I mean if Stephon Allstar says you sound weird, it's worth investigating. You might actually sound weird, or worse yet, be weird. I can't speak to Stephon Allstar's intuitive faculties but he has a net worth of 230K so it's not like he's just whistlin' dixie here. He's currently being stonewalled by one of the giants in the offshore industry.Leave a comment:
