I'm an agent for over 10 years, I never stiff my players. And this is how I make sure my players don't stiff me. We exchange personal contact information. Home and work address, etc. If a player stiff me, I'll make sure to break his legs, no questions asked. But so far no one stiffed me and I never stiffed anyone. All my players are word of mouth from other players.

I have a few questions about agents:

    1) What is a good % for an agent to get if he has a sheet of players and is responsible for all the players? Is 40-50% a good deal with a makeup figure?

    2) I hear some books offer a % of all action under a sheet. This discourages an agent from leaving after the sheet has a huge makeup. 1% is often mentioned. Is that a good deal for the agent?

Yea. I only take clients that lives in my area, within 1 hour driving distance away from me. And new clients has to deposit first before they wager. I use bankroll system for all my recent new clients. Whatever amount of money they deposit is what they'll have available to wager with in my PPH site that I provide for my clients. Unlike Pinnacle or other books, I allow my customers to withdraw money whenever they want, and of course it's all in cash.

I'm not asking you to believe me. I don't really care if you do or not. I mind my own business and you need to mind yours. I don't give a rat's ass about what your business is.

And if you have any common sense, you need to think about this. If a bookie knows where you live and where you work at, you will not have the guts to stiff him. That's all I have to say.

Hey, you want to endanger your life OR the lives of your loved ones, be my guest!! Obviously you're a big mouth that's never been shot before. Think twice about saying if bookies scare you or not. That's all I have to say and I'm not kidding. I gaurantee you on that one. And I gaurantee that if you stiff a bookie, and he points a gun to your head, you'll pee in your pants. Seriously, what can YOU do when someone points a gun to your head? Yea, WHAT can YOU do besides peeing in your pants? Yea, nothing except cry to mommy and daddy. That's what I thought.

This is why I use bankroll system for new clients. Deposit first, build up your bankroll, and withdraw whenever you want. For my old clients, there's mutual trust in us and we're all happy dealing with each other. So no problems with my old trusted clients.

In this business, it's about trust.

Never thought of it because I avoid situations like this.

For some of my old customers that plays heavy duty amount of $20,000 a week, I make them deposit 50% first. It's really easy with how i do this. It's just like Sportsbook, Bodog, or whatever. Except I pay cash and customers can withdraw money whenever they want. Unlike Sportsbook or Bodog or other websites, I don't send out paychecks to people's houses, and I don't charge additional fee if customers request to withdraw more than once a month. I like this bankroll system and so does my customers. Never had any complaints so far.

I do have some small bettor old customers that plays $1000 a week. Those are the ones I don't make them pay a deposit first and be on the bankroll system. The bankroll system is only for my big customers and for new customers.

No they don't. The agent pays the book for their software. The book don't give a shit what's going on between the players and the agents.

We agents pays them for each of our players that uses their online accounts. It's that simple.

I don't make shit up like you. So you're telling everyone here Bodog, Sportsbook, and other generic websites pays you "in a matter of minutes?" Hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!! You're a funny one!

Everyone knows those generic betting websites sends a paycheck to your house when you request it. And when you request more than once a month, they'll charge you an extra fee. I require my customers to pay deposit, they build up their bankroll, and can withdraw whenever they want. The next day, I deliver the cash to them in person. It's as simple as that. No hassle at all.

Betting through a local bookie that provide their players with a PPH site is the best way to go.

I don't know much about the book-agent-player system, but for other businesses, if the employee acting on behalf of a business steals from a customer, the business owes the money to the customer.

I would think maybe the same logic applies here but then again I've never dealt with an agent. Only straight with a bookie.
