This was with a brand new pinny account created while on the vpn. So frustrating!

Make sure none of your browsers are running when u connect the VPN. Once you are connected open a browser. Try going to www.yahoo.com. If you are connected to a VPN in a foreign country it will show you the U.S. version and the foreign version. This will let u know it's all good.

Yes, the black swirly icon in my task bar. It says it's connected, that works fine and it does change my IP.

I already know that it works in that it changes my IP guys. I verified that right away. I was able to create a pinny account.
But when I try ot log in it just gos to a blank white page everytime...doesnt matter which browser and doesn't matter if I reimaged why whole computer. Wish I had another computer around to test this on.

MUherd, do you use a firewall besides windows? I don't have anything but the windows firewall.

Have you tried the mobile site? I don't mean using a mobile device. I mean keeping the VPN on and going to the mobile site URL via your standard desktop web browser.

I have a firewall with avast. The white page sounds more like a browser problem or something. Not a VPN problem. U have an iPad, iPhone, or laptop u can try with?

Go there and set up the vpn for your phone. Then go to pinnacle and see what happens.

Then I gotta set up another pinny account on my phone...fun. I'll try it, but it's really only good for informational purposes at this point. Phone is much too small to be useful to me with pinny.

Have not tried that one. Only the open and the pptp.

Going to borrow my brother's tablet and see if I can use it to get into pinny on there.
I'll be sure to try the L2TP/IPSec. Why did you pick that one?

Hallelujah! It worked on the tablet. Scratching my head as to why it isn't working on my xp machine no matter what browser I use, would like to get it working on there so I don't have to rush out and get a new laptop or operating system.

I didn't want to pay the extra to get OpenVPN. I think there must be an issue from where you went to Pinnacle before.

some companies use Flash cookies to ID u and those are NOT cleaned when you delete ur cache and cookies from Firefox/IE/Chrome/etc.
Try this freebie and I think you'll have postive results:

I know all about flash cookies. I have the better privacy add-on. Plus, I reimaged my computer so there were definitely no cookies or flash cookies.

Just got it working on my xp machine. Tried pptn like worked on the tablet. Maybe only the pptn will work on here...who knows.
Too bad I didn't try all 3 on here originally. I can even use my old account, doesn't matter that it's a u.s. account.

Is there a way to determine all of pinnacle's IP addresses? I think it's possible to route only certain IP's over the VPN and not others. This way the connection to everything but pinnacle won't be slowed, it could be in the same browser, and the other websites I am connected to won't see me as being somewhere different then my account says.

Got the OpenVPN working in XP now too. Faster and more secure.
The person on live help only told me about the desktop app and that didn't work right, but there were directions for another method and that one worked.
