Betonline Seized my Money
I won on my account and got it to $10,000. Then I couldn't login, I called Betonline and they said my account was closed for violating their terms. Now I'm researching filing a civil action against them in Panama.
I just spoke with an attorney in Panama, they're going to sue Betonline but will charge me half of all the money recovered from my account.

Dear Lawrence,
This is Lucy from BetOnline Customer Support team. I hope you are doing fantastic today.
As I checked your account I can see you were advised yesterday by our agents that you violated our General rules by chip dumping and having more than one account using same device which is strictly against our policies of not having more than 1 account per person, household, IP address, payment method or device. This is why your account has been blocked at this moment. We are further evaluating it currently and will get in contact with you as soon as we have done our investigation. You can also get in contact with us should you need further assistance or information.
We remain at your disposal.
Kind regards,
Lucy Avery

So it seems he had multiple accounts and took bonuses at all of them and then chip dumped in the pokerroom to consolidate into one account.Comment -

#45Well like I said, I'm getting the funds back, as sad as that might make some of you. They do have whats called a legal system in Panama. Betonline can do whatever they want, but I people then have recourse because their licensed. Some of you are under the misimpression that even saying arguendo there was a breach of the terms, that it would authorize the casino to seize funds. That's simply not the law. It would authorize closure of the account at most but any funds in the account have to be returned, that's just how it works, same thing with a bank account. PD77 points out sites "have done" this "have done" that, sure again they can do whatever and as long as their licensed there's always legal recourse. If this were an unlicensed casino then yeah you would be stuck with their decisions but that's not the case here.Comment -

BetUS didn't freeze my account that was a different issue. I took a bonus, and completed the 40x rollover requirement then it showed as available funds of $12k. The withdrawal was declined, I call them and they said I have to do another 40x rollover on the released amount. Which is a lie under their terms you just do 40x rollover once and you're finished.Comment -

#59And now we have our answer as to why OP skipped going with free mediation service - he knew he was a scammer and had no case. And the forum community pretty much sniffed out what was going on here from the get go. Scammers are always a lot dumber than they think they are.
Justin Mills (or whatever his real name is) is such a scumbag loser. I bet he's done fake slip and fall lawsuits against grocery stores too. He's probably wearing a fake neck brace right now. LOL
So I won fair and square playing blackjack with my own money. Where's the "cheating"?So I posted screenshots of exactly how I won, which is by playing blackjack, wtf cheating r u folks fantasizing about?I'm not here for help I made this post for anyone considering opening an account with Betonline to know that Betonline can steal their money so they don't make the same mistake I did of trusting this Panama based online casino. Why do you continue to mention "cheating" when that has nothing to do what occurred here.No I just had one account.
...if they are found liable for stealing a customer's money, as happened here, they could lose their license.Last edited by DontTailMe; 03-12-22, 05:16 PM.Comment -

I also find this part of his first post kind of funny. Yeah, BetOnline is going to have their license pulled because of a loser scammer. Riiiiiight.Comment -

#61I'm not a lawyer on a Caribbean island, so I can't say. At the very least, he's probably entitled to the amount he deposited. That's his money. From there, it depends on how the law views the totality of his ill-gotten gains.Comment -
