There's another 4 years of theft complaints preceding this--just do a search of sportsbook.com on the breaking news page. Solid book.....yeah, right.

My opinion means jack obviously but I'm super stoked you got paid. It doesn't negate those who are waiting for ages, some waiting for years to get their cash, but it's always good to get feedback from both sides. But please don't disparage those who are still without their money... many of these cases are in the thousands of dollars. I'm not sure about you but I'd be upset if I was still waiting after years for this cash. I've been waiting for a relatively short time compared to these guys for my FullTilt cash and I'm a bit pissed. I can't imagine how these guys feel. I don't understand how any decent punter wouldn't support this - or any - book paying off every single person they own.

U guys r so annoying i can't even begin to tell u. This book is willing to give back players the bets from last nights stupidest thing ever in the NFL and yet u people at SBR and Billdozer think they r trying to screw someone or want some spotlight. We all know they haven't been paying u guys off thats why this thread was even started. Keep fighting guys, great work.

Sorry to be so cynical but any book offering something back to the losing players from last night's game is doing it for PR reasons...

Just so everyone doesn't thing I'm 100% anti-Jazette, check out BetUSA (B-). It's a Sportsbook.com skin that refuses to steal. Hollywood Sports (D+) is also under new management that has vowed to pay all legit players.

So for all Sportsbook.com fans, consider switching to BetUSA or Hollywood---same lines as Sportsbook.com with little to no risk of your funds being stolen.

Don't get me wrong, I'd take their free money offers. Some players who feel like they are managing their risk by keeping one unit in at a time are fine too or maybe more since it's been a few years since they stiffed players. But, you have a poster in this very thread with first hand experience with funds stolen from his account. One player lost 150k. These are pure confiscations, not related to the 6 months of parlays they canceled only for winners. Nothing more to be said. GL on your freeplay.

This is what I just got from Sportsbook:

    Jeffrey Shine:
We are really sorry about the misinformation which has originated from different online media websites, unfortunately they have a report from a foreign customer who plays at global.sportsbook.com about a promotion that site offers to their international members and have wrongfully assumed that this also applies to us.
Jeffrey Shine: Sportsbook.ag, which is our site and completely separate from global.sportsbook.com, does not have international members, we only handle customers from the U.S. and as per our House Rules the result of the Packers-Seahawks game and all wagers placed on it will stand as it is.

Legions... Would you care to comment now or would you maybe concede that some of us that have seen these complaints come in and have posters PM and email us constantly hoping for a breakthrough actually have a bloody clue what we're talking about? Get fukked with that nonsense about whether they pay SBR or not. I just posted on the first page of how I'd play at friggen Paddy Power - who banned me for winning a whopping $800 - if I could again. See their banner here? Nah didn't think so.

This went from a joke to pretty good scam...
does a media campaign on US-only publications saying Sportsbook.com is giving freebies to Green Bay backers. Everyone who uses sportsbook.com in the USA, where they actually take a substantial amount of wagers on football, is told sorry, when we say sportsbook.com we meant for non-US players. Sportsbook.com goes to Sportsbook.ag in the US... All the good press and very few actual bonuses.

We were told by folks in media that the sites who went to press on it are hurrying to clarify that most sportsbook.com users won't actually get a "refund on all GB bets". Seems site like the NYtimes were duped and after the bad press, has to fix it.

they are only giving back something to non-US bettors, which is only a small portion of NFL bettors. they stole mid 5 figures from me and you think they're great because they're refunding some non americans piddly amounts? get the hell out of here.

Right, and it's only a bonus with a rollover, not a "refund". Not a genuine aspect of whatever you would call it.

skrtelfan, How did they steal from you? Different sportsbook.com powered books and said that was a violation?

Both of those skins are way quicker to limit than the main site.

Much better to play at sb. If they steal your money, just win it back.

cancelled parlays, voided futures (same thing they tried to do last year but reversed after complaints) and the different sportsbook.com powered books and said it was a violation even after they kept inviting me to deposit at their other books and specifically told me it was ok when i asked. i asked in live chat or over the phone, which is now why i do everything by email.

There is more hilarity in your own book ratings than in this article. If the book referenced in the article was one of your paid sponsors with an inflated rating, this thread would be written in a completely different light. There is absolutely no doubt that the subject of the article is beyond any consideration at all as a viable out. Again that could be said regarding several of your sponsors.

Perhaps, but the fact that Betonline is a shit book doesn't make Sportsbook.com smell any better.

    Absolutely.

is the absolute armpit of the industry.

The whole landscape of this industry, from the alleged watchdog sites to the books themselves should be taken with a grain of salt.

    Buyer beware all around.
