    Justbet questions... Limit Changes

Hi - Im new to the forum, but was steered here from another gambling forum. I am a first time offshore user (always used local until now) and started an account with justbet 3 weeks ago... Here is what has happened - Im not trying to stir up trouble or anything - I just want to know if this is a typical experience I should expect when doing business with the offshore books...

    I made a $500 deposit with a $500 freeplay match.

The first night, I bet on a college football game, then screwed around on the casino for a little while during the game. Had good luck and won several hundred dollars playing blackjack and won the game. Over the course of the next few days, I did pretty well at the casino just playing my winnings - never got into my initial deposit, so I kept playing. I started getting some error messages about daily limits and such, so I emailed customer care, then one week ago today, here is a copy of the email I got from their "Casino manager"
    Hi <>,
Once again congratulations on your winnings.
We have further reviewed your account with upper management and we understand our limits and casino tables are not up for your gambling needs.
We will be taking a pass on your casino business as we will not be able to provide you the support necessary.
You are welcomed to continue playing at our sportsbook, cash out or shop around for a casino that may take high rolling and sharper action.
    Best to you,
    Diego
    Casino Department
The comedy of that is the comment about "Sharp" or "High Roller" action. My casino limit for blackjack was $100 per hand so that was the very most I could have ever played. More realistically I was typically playing $25 per hand.

So I played all week last week - baseball then weekend football and had a couple losing days, but won as a whole for the week. I took a partial cashout this morning for about 1/3 of my total bankroll (Im sure they will rush that *********** right out to me). About an hour later - I was checking some lines and noticed all my game limits had been slashed by 75-80%. My football moneyline limit is down to $100....that's ridiculous. I guess as with human nature and the notion that I was playing with "house money", I was betting more than I would have been with cash money in Vegas, but I was betting my plays, and having good luck. After I saw how low the limits had been dropped this morning, I Live Chatted an Agent and got this load of nonsense:

Please wait for a site operator to respond.
You are now chatting with 'Meagan'
Meagan: Hello, how may I assist you?
JBXXXX: Hi Meagan - I have noticed that my game limits for all sports have been significantly lowered - is there a reason?
    Meagan: One moment please
Meagan: I checked your account, Limits were lowered as per management decision sir.
JBXXXX: Last week - I was "banned" from the casino and was told that you guys are primarily a sports book and werent interested in my casino action. Now my sports limits have been reduced also... I dont understand what is going on.
Meagan: The decision was taken from upper management sir.
Meagan: The limits will remain lowered and the Casino closed for now.
JBXXXX: Is upper management asking me to take my business elsewhere?
    Meagan: Not at all sir.
JBXXXX: Thats what I read into it. I win and lose just like anybody else. Had a good couple weeks is all...
Meagan: I do understand sir..we don't want you to feel that way.
JBXXXX: Ok... I certainly dont agree with the business practice of it, but I understand your position.
Meagan: What happen sir is that this is a recreational sportsbook.
Meagan: Your type of playing is not considered recreational.
JBXXXX: Thank you - I appreciate your candor eventhough I don't agree with the assessment. That being said - is upper management content with me to play at the new limits, or would they honestly prefer I move on...
Meagan: You are more than welcome to play with us with the new limits sir.
JBXXXX: Meagan - thank you for your time and your explanation. Have a nice afternoon.
    Meagan: You're welcome
Meagan: Is there anything else I can help you with?
    JBXXXX: No - thats all.
Meagan: Have a great day, if you need anything else please let us know.

I have won good money so Im not complaining about that - maybe it has just hit me wrong how they handled it. I cant help but feel like they did this because Ive won - I seriously doubt they would've cut me off from the casino or lowered my game limits if I were on a chase... Now Im just thinking I should cash the whole deal out and start fresh somewhere else... Not sure. Is this experience typical? Am I wrong that this is rubbing me the wrong way? Am I going to have hell collecting my winnings? Input appreciated...

The same thing is happening actually to me . Got registered at Gamebookers before one month , placed about 70-80 bets during this time ,won 1000 EUR and now i am limited to 50 EUR . Always claiming this is management decision ,we expect you not to feel disappointed blahhh blahhh ... Such morons ,they can't afford to lose 1000 EUR . Only their loser costumers are welcomed .

Justbet and BetGuardian under the same management basically. I had my limits severely reduced and then reinstated by Shark here on the SBR forums, then I got limited again. lol Down to $250 on on MLB and NFL currently, however, that being said, they have paid me pretty fast every time I requested a payout.

Oh and Justbet just doesn't even allow me to deposit with them.

    BoL,

    Close it down

This so pathetic! Why don't they just admit defeat and close their gad damn establishment....
This is really annying those little Mickey mouse books who want to make money so they eliminate winners after they have won $100... Justbet is off of my list ....What a joke! In Bookmaker you win $100k and they dont blink the eye...here you win $100 and limits are reduced to $100

I think you have to understand that the casino for sportsbooks is to be considered a money maker. More often than not after a good day betting a typical degen will head into the casino and maybe blow a few hundred bucks and all is good and fine. What the books do not count on is winners in the casino. If you want straight casino action you are better off picking an RTG casino that specializes in just taking Casino action. By taking Justbet for money initially in the casino, you already presented them with a problem. If you absolutely have to play the casino and you find yourself to be a bigger winner than a loser.. stick with the A books (5dimes, bookmaker, Heritage, etc) but I am warning you since you are new... don't expect to win long term at these games.

    Agreed

Agreed and thanks for your response. I never had intentions of even really using the casino, so them cutting me out of there wasn't that big of a deal, but like i said - i was only playing it because i kept winning. I absolutely understand in the long term thats a losing proposition. BUT, once they also cut my sports play - that's when I really had some heartburn...

I've chatted online with shark. I think he's looking into it.

Update --- Shark got me in touch with the risk mgmt guy... Thanks for that shark. He was really nice and returned all my sports limits back to original values. We really did have a good candid talk and I can understand his perspective, but I think he understood mine as well... Casino wasn't turned back on, but I suppose that is secondary to the situation. Vast improvement from where I was this AM...

Turning OFF the casino because you are "sharp" playing it. That is a new low in sportsbook stupidity.
