    Sportsbook.com $100,000 Survivor pool - 13,500 contestestants already down to 5393

The Saints (Week 1) and Patriots (Week 2) have already helped to take out over 60% of the entries. I still have 9 of my original 15 entries, which isn't great but is still proportionately much better than the rest of the field is tracking.

Too bad that the Giants came back and won yesterday or we'd be down under 4000 survivors!

Anybody else in this or another similar large-money Survivor pool? I'd be curious to hear how other pools are trending or to talk strategy on a go-forward basis in this thread.

    Thanks, mates.

Early Week 3 leans would be Saints (absolute must-win at home) for possibly 5 of my picks, Bills (on road at Cleveland) for 3 of my picks, and Bears (at home v's Rams) for my final entry. I will diversify until I'm down to about 4 picks and then will start getting a bit riskier with my plays.

    Sportsbook.com is still around?

The payout will be more of a sweat than the games

Umm, my sketchy DC they sent me and less-than a week cash payouts disagree with you.

I don't get the hate for Sportsbook on this site. One of the few big-ticket sites that still take DC deposits, give you true cash bonuses (not shitty "free plays") and a DC payout system that's back up and running. They were taking like 2 months to pay up this time last year but it seems like they've got their stuff together lately.

Whoever wins, actually loses. As they will wait for years hoping for a payout

I like the software. And NASCAR odds at least are better than anywhere else I know of.

I hadn't used them for ages until about 3 weeks ago. As I thought the same as people above, that getting paid was too hard.

I guess they must have got their act together some.

This. And like I said their d. card option has been flawless since June. I cleaned up on beisbol and have had multiple $2500 cash credits to my d. card account in less than 5 business days.

ETA: It's strange how the three SBR Pros in this thread who have actually played on Sportsbook.com in the past 6 months have nothing but solid things to say about the book. Think about it before you mindlessly believe the hype from others who don't play there or haven't played there in ages.

LOL yeah - because THREE dudes who shell out $250 apiece (or whatever it costs to become an SBR Pro) are obviously shills.

Again - look at the people dogging the site - no offense, but none of ya'll are SBR Pros. Not saying that doesn't mean you're not legit - but I would think if you're a big-time player risking in the thousands of dollars a week at multiple books you'd be PRO.

I'm flat out telling you that the perception of Sportsbook on this site is 180 degrees wrong. It is easily a top 3 online sportsbook in existence now. They do not pay to advertise on this site which is why they are not heavily touted on this site. Plain and simple.

Anytime some goes ut of their way to advocate for a book with documented payout issues then they are filed under the shill umbrella.

Can you see all the users and their plays ahead of time? If not, good odds that they have fake accounts in there that get the plays after.

Love Sportsbook.ag, My #1 since 2007. Never any problems.
I get a Fedex to my house in 1 week with my withdrawal in a bank check everytime.
SBR has nothing but bad things to say because Sportsbook.ag is #1 sponsor of a competitor.

There $100,000 is the best. I came in 18th out of 18,000 last year.

This year I'm out in week 2. Damm Patriots.

You don't need SBR to know they built their empire at least partly on stiffing players. Google is a fine resource.

Did they pick and choose who they stiffed or did they just stiff players who chose to do multiple chargebacks against them as it was very popular back in the day. I dont know anyone, from fish to big gamblers who have ever been stiffed by sportsbook. Some payouts took months but I and all my friends were always paid. (2007-2009)

People who won big betting correlated parlays were stiffed.

Sportsbook has done some very shady stuff in the past. I still consider their management to be shady.

Now they pay like champs though.

+ Sportsbook.ag bonuses are not freeplays. Sportsbook bonuses are $ put right in to my account with a 1x rollover (CAN'T BEAT IT).

$10 freebet every week of the Year on Sundays. (I can place the bet starting on Wednesday)

1% back bonus on everything I bet, showed to me in an email on the 1st and 15th of every month.

If someone has had a problem with a payout it is probably because they need 3-4 proof of info before they will give you a payout. I am fine about.

I'm out of the 100,000 survivor pool. But STANLEY look for the free week 3 $20,000 survivor pool that opened yesterday.

    I also have 5Dimes, BetOnline, Bet365 (I'm in U.S.) + BetDSI - starting 1 month ago (which I dislike).

Sportsbook.com stole 9k from me in '07.That said, I can still see what people like about SB, but a much safer alternative is BetUSA (B- rating). Same great betting options as SB, w/o the risk of being ripped off.

I often thought that too. Wouldn't put contest rigging past Sportsbook.com given their thieving history.

The Survivor League I'm in has 2,069 entrees at $100 a pop.
    1,016 are eliminated (59%)

I still have all 3 of my entrees in play.

Week 1 took Houston, Philly, Baltimore.
Week 2 took Cincy, NY Giants, Pittsburgh.

Probably going to avoid this week's most likely picks (Chicago and San Fran)

9K did you ever call customer service? They have clear English language speaking people answering the phones in a quiet room, unlike my other accounts - Spanish speaking people with loud background noise. Sportsbook.ag are strict on withdrawals. You need to send them multiple proof of I.D. and proof of residency, mailing address to get paid.

I am loyal to SBR. But I never limit myself to one style and keep an open mind. Vegasinsider is useful to me especially in NFL.
I showed Sportsbook.ag. the Justin7 youtube video claiming they will close my account when I get to $20,000 and not pay me. Manager assured me there is nothing to worry about ever. And I've never had a problem.

Last post for me on this thread. I am now in fear of being banned because of my #1 book.

Mates, it's down to 1750 contestents (assuming Green Bay beats Seattle tonight) out of over 13,500 originally! That is insane elimination in only 3 weeks.

6 out of the 9 most popular picks LOST yesterday, including the Saints (1700 knocked out), 49ers (900), Steelers (300), Colts (200), Lions (184) and Redskins (90).

Holy Toledo! I only have 4 entries left (which is still a 50% better survival rate than the pool - I should only have 2 left if you go by the sheer math).

And yes, you can see everybody's picks, you skeptical dumbasses. /rollseyes.

I'm probably going to play 3 of my remaining 4 on Baltimore at home over Brownies. Probably the other one on Pats over Buffalo (can't see the Pats starting 1-3, innit mates? innit?)

4 picks left though - that means I have (basically) a 1 in 470 (or something - too early) chance of winning the 100 grrr. Of course, other factors like if some asshole still has 10 entries left or something will alter that - I think when you get down to 500 or so remaining teams whoever has the most entries left can hedge the hell out of things to stay afloat as long as possible.

Top 3??? No way. Sportsbook.com is rated D- for good reason---they selectively steal. They stole 9k from me in '07 and others have reported 6-figure stiff jobs. I get why you like SB, but a much safer Jazette option would be BetUSA (rated B-). Same betting options without the theft risk.

Every survivor pool is like that because the most popular picks keep losing.

It's been a very unusual season. Many of the smaller pools (50 or less) have ended already.
