    I have never had any issues in two years and have really enjoyed playing with Betmania/Skybook but that is unreal to me. I get offered 100% via cold call (I asked for 500 and she approved it with her manager). I had not deposited yet with BM, just got the approval to do so. then I try to do the right thing and inform them I should have 700 less in my account and this is what happens.

    I took a bonus there for casino won, deposited 100$ for 100%,met RO and was gambling my ass of on live blackjack, was upto 6K and later found out i had a max cashout of 1k. Never played again. I am perfectly ok with roll over but limits on cahouts just sucks!

    If you ever feel the need to correct a grade like that again, DO NOT correct it with the tier one phone clerk.
    Get a manager on the line.

    Same with reporting a bad line.
    Let the head linesman know directly from you.

    If the clerk in either case won't transfer you, let them know again that you are calling to help them from losing money.

    The CS 'climate' is in the ultimate cover your ass world.

    Players DESERVE 1000% to be 'thanked' for reporting a bad line or a wrong grade, even though the grade in your case would have most probably been caught and reversed.
    Doesn't matter.

    Forward this thread to every one of thier emails, and post what happens over the next day or two.

    Will do. Kind of unexpected when you think you are being forwarded to the manager to be thanked and instead of "thanks for noticing our $700 error", it's "which of your accounts should I close?"

    5Dimes gave me a freeplay (which ended up being 5x my original bet) when i reported a bad line.

    that's why they're an A+ book.

    Good bonuses, reduced juice, free half point, etc. Never had a single issue with them before this. Betmania even had their teaser rules worded "tie + win= win" in one place on their site, and in another place is said it was a push. They graded it a push and I showed them where that was written and the credited me with a win before changing their wording. Really a shame....

    As for helping out books, I never get thanked for it. It's a waste of time. Lines listed wrong, times off, etc. (one time Heritage listed a K matchup between two SPs on the same team).

    I've helped books out with their mistakes 5 or 6 times this year alone. Got nothing out of it.

    Twice a book had stuff listed for an event that had already started, once they had lines flipped (wrong side favored).

    right, but I think that was separate from what you had done

    two separate things
    A)You reported a mistake to them, got nothing
    B)They wouldn't give bonus

    B was not caused by A. It would've happened anyway, I think.

    People throw words around like 'Karma' in these situations (reporting the wrong grade), and it simply doesn't apply.

    Your bookie is not like other people/companies you do business with. They hope for your ruin.

    You are in a cordial adversarial relationship with any entity you gamble with, unless they share in your victories, like poker rake, or para mutual racing, etc.

    When I worked for Ceasars, the few hosts that were good guys were on a theoretical hold commission.
    The scumbag hosts were all on a piece of the players losses.

    Hyman Roth knew that lasting relationships in this business came from always making money for your partners, and the book ain't your partner.

    Don't shoot the messenger. I thought they did fine on that CS transcript. You really can't expect to withdraw and then deposit for a fat bonus but it was certainly worth a try. He wasn't able to give you the bonus but they did handle the session professionally imo.

    Definitely follow up on this. If I'm understanding what you've said this sounds like an innocent mistake. Definitely not how 5Dimes does business.

    All else fails file a complaint but talk to them first.

    I can't expect bonus when I was cold called, offered a bonus, and then cleared for more than I was initially offered by management? That makes a hell of a lot of sense. Last year their policy was that you could not accept a bonus if you had made a withdrawal within the last 30 days (mine was in June I believe). I don't know if that same policy was in place this year.

    this happens because the useless manager is behind and he doesnt even know how to do an excel sheet hahaha i had to teach him how to because i think he never finish school

    1) I am cold called and offered a bonus

    2) the bonus offer is confirmed by management

    3) I inform them that they made a $700 error

    4) I ask for the bonus advertised on their site

    5) They don't say thanks, they instead decline my bonus and ask which account I would like to have closed

    Pheonix/Mania/Skybook have paid me for the past four years without one single issue. They still give me a bonus even though Im up at all three books, I can't find any legit complaint on this thread , Im getting my $300 for $300 tomorrow.
