I just used Livehelp to alert them of this - told them I wasn't going to fund my account till they fixed this as I have to have access to my books through my iphone. The guy was pretty funny - didn't know about the problem - even pulled out his iphone to verify....fwiw nothing may come of it but he said he would forward the problem on but that the fix may take a few weeks. I also told them that there were lots of iphone users who were bitching about it on forums and the word was spreading that Bookmaker was the only book not compatible with the most popular web browsing phone on the market!! Not a great business decision....lol. We'll see what happens....

I have had problems placing wagers on my iPhone, but I did have better luck and was able to wager when I was on a wireless connection, as opposed to using the Edge or 3G network.

It's not so much teh connection...it's that you can't scroll down the page of any of bookmaker's betting screens on the iphone. So you are limited to betting the top few games....

Ideally they need an app. But even if they just fixed the normal website so iphone would be able to access the whole screen that would be sufficient - even if slow to load....

For iPhone betting on USA sports I use SportsBook purely because it offer a free $10 bet to all new iPhone users. For UK sports betting I opt for Paddy Power because they have an actual app rather than just an an optimized iPhone site. I find that any of the sportsbooks listed here are pretty good - iPhone SportsBooks
