    Bookmaker Revenues - Thoughts?

What would you estimate the average turnover (amount bet) per game to be for a college football and college basketball games (division 1 only)?

So including all online outlets, vegas and local bookies.

Id say $10 million for football, and $7 million for hoops.

    Anyone disagree?

    No idea..impossible to gauge

Only book I know of Betfair you can see the $$$ in play

Murray Match yesterday did 60 million (approx) although Betfair blows every book out of the water so you cannot compare them to any

So we know 97 million was wagered on the superbowl in vegas. Vegas probably makes up 1-2% of total betting market. So we can say 5-10 billion is bet on the superbowl. How much in comparison is bet on an average college football game? 5%?

Just interested in college sports. So going off your numbers its probably:

    40% football
    35% hoops
    25% parlay and others
