Seems like they can twist the rule whichever way they like. I don't care how they want to make their rules, but they should at least post a clear rule and stick to it to clear up all confusion

I deposit 500, win 2500 and continue to play over 30 days.

On the 1st of the following month, I have 3000 in my account, free and clear of RO. I could withdraw 3000, instead I play and lose. How does this not represent a NET loss to me in the new month?

NET for the MONTH means just that. Not net lifetime winnings. By their logic, if I ever won, I'd never be paid the rebate.

Sorry, but Jon and BI need to get their game plan in order and follow it.

First, you pull overnight lines. Second, you pull dimelines back and offer a token 50 freeplay to anyone who complains, now this.

How about you remain a man of your word and not retroactively pull offers. Jon is no dummy and knows this is a cut-throat industry. I can see why they offered this to match others and it didn't pan out like hoped.

Instead of flip-flopping, how about you honor the terms for remainder of current season to existing season and let clients know it will end?

The overnights change is understandable, and was handled fairly, but the lower dimeline was a joke. Here, deposit and ill give you this, OK, now I am raising your prices and your tied to me (if you took a bonus) and even if you didn't, your long term business is worth less to us than an increased big for 4 months of bases.

Now your chasing out LOSERS, sorry..somethings not right here. Jon knows the industry, and logic says you roll at the red carpet to a loser. RW has done it for years, yet Jon pulls the carpet out from under their feet. Either too many sharps are using BI as an ATM (taking advantage of higher limits and 20 percent rebate) or they really feel their client base is too stupid to see these changes are padding bi's profits beyond that of other shops (which I doubt). Either way what's next? I wouldn't stick around to see personally.

I personally havent read the rule but the rule should trump all and fine print should cover it. If there are no terms, the player needs to get the TOS for the promo.

From a business side, it wouldn't make $ sense to give unconditional rebates per calendar month. A guy could win $10,000 in month 1 and lose $9,000 in month 2 and get $1800 back after beating the house in a 60 day period. A book couldn't survive giving winners cashback. In theory a guy could win 10 months out of 12 and the house could have to give him cashback on the two months he lost a small amount.

Please just state the rule with couple examples, instead of Ad with the best and deal each client with different restrictions. We all know dishonest is major problem in the industry.

Clients have always gotten the best treatment possible at Betislands , yet people are always quick to judge the future of a book because of a confusion with a promotion.

We still give great CS , we still are one of the fastest paying books around and this rebate was actually a way to give clients back something during baseball.

I am actually considering changing this to a weekly or bi weekly rebate. I will keep you posted.

To Bill D, agree...but aside from BigDaddys point, look at it this way...a Guy hits a huge parlay one week, goes up big and cashes. As a shop owner, are you going to tell him no bonuses again until you become a lifetime loser? Its common place and I guarantee 95% of shops are handing out a bonus to this person to encourage his continued play. Granted maybeye not the next week, but after a month, yes.

There's a big difference between the Guy who gets lucky and the sharp who has a bad month. Some peoples play dictate they not receive these promos, when found let them know this up front so there is no confusion.

Jon - no one doubts your CS. But good CS is just one aspect. Hell, I can go into any number of places and be treated like a king while they drain my wallet. Just because their nice about it doesn't mean they are being fair to me.

Bottom line is this, yes it is a competitive industry, yes you need to have innovative offerings to stand out, but you also need to be clear and stay the course to loyal customers.

If you offer something, keep it for 6 months, not pull it a week after someone signs up. If you say loss rebate, rebate the loss...not use ambiguous terms and then claim the customer misunderstood. It would be wiser to do a smaller return on play rebate to me (like betjm did and heritage does) rather than a weekly-monthly rebate.

I am with you Big Joe. According to Jon, the rebate is based upon net losses. I lost about $500 net last month. When I called this morning I was informed that because I have a balance remaining in my account, I am not eligible for a rebate. Once I have lost this remaining balance, then I can ask for a rebate! So, If you deposit $10,000 and lose $9,500, you would not have any net losses and you would not be eligible for the rebate that is advertised as 20% of net losses. I took a smaller bonus than I could have gotten in order to qualify for the rebate --- only to discover that the rebate is not a real rebate. This is not a good situation for BetIslands.

It seems there is confusion about this.

If you started say June 1st with a $1000 balance and come July 1st you have $500 , your losses are $500 that you can claim your 20% rebate on. So clients that deposit and do not lose their full balance can still get a 20% on their losses I do not think that is unfair at all.

If the client is at 0 then obviously to measure net losses you must add deposits vs payouts. We are probably going to offer the rebate weekly since I think that will work out better for the clients and probably easier to understand , we are not trying to pull a fast one on anyone we are not that type of book and I believe clients that have dealt with me and Betislands can confirm this.

If the rebate is an issue we will just then offer it twice a year and continue with larger bonuses.

only reason i ask is b/c a red flag popped up to me b/c at first, in chat he quoted my rebate with fee loss as part of my net loss then when he saw i still had a huge balance....the new net loss figure did not include fee loss??? i think he pulled a fast one on me...he was willing to keep it included if i lost my whole deposit, but did not want to when he saw i was still in the game...its not much money but i want to know if you guys got rebate on fee reimbursement loss or if they took the fee reimbursement away from your net loss?
