Vegas Books vs. Retail Online Shops

    Just curious,

How similar are the lines for Vegas books (not including Cantor) to retail online shops like Bovada or Sportsbook.com? Just want to get a sense of which outlet gets more squares or are they about the same.

    Thanks,

    Jayule

You can look at lines here http://www.lvasports.com/lines2.cfm. Not sure how real-time these are. I have watched the Vegas/Offshore lines before and sometimes I do see lines in Vegas you can not get anywhere offshore even at the square shops. The Hilton's dime line on NHL dogs are sometimes amazing.

Does anyone know if Vegas has "LA/Westcoast" leans owing to their proximity to square money flowing from California?

    West Coast/LA line shading

I lived 3 years in vegas and have spent the past 3 years in Socal. I definitely noticed some extra juice on lakers games at the MGM books on occasion. Similar to the way that bodog/bovada and a couple other "square" books online will do so. I made my fair square of cash fading this trend when it seemed to be going too far.
