The Bodog Blowoff... -----WHO ARE THEY PAYING YO KEEP AN 'A' RATING?

I've gambled for many years, I started with Betdaq & then went onto Betfair in search of better odds. Recently, I wanted to try something more local, I'm a Canuck, and decided to give Bodog a shot because they had an 'A' rating.

I am currently regretting that decision wholeheartedly...

I started having some good fortune wagering on soccer matches and then POOF! Those matches are no longer offered (NOT EVEN EXTRA-JUICED, SIMPLY NOT OFFERED AT ALL)...

KEEP IN MIND THAT I HAVE NOT MADE ANY WITHDRAWS FROM THIS ACCT AT ALL.

I took the time to send them an email:

    Subject : Bodog Sportsbook

    Request :
Why are your soccer offerings so minimal?

There are many games missing from the International offerings and also from the U21/U20/U19...

Why are you not offering them?

Here is the 'Blow-Off' response I received...

    Dear Mr. XXXXX,

Thank you for contacting Bodog Customer Service.

We understand that you are inquiring why our Soccer offering is minimal and some games missing from the International offerings.

Please be advised that, Recreational bettors tend to prefer the favourite and the over, and because we post lines late and keep limits low to discourage pro and syndicate betting, we do not get as much buyback on the dog and under as other books that cater to those clients.

In between are the clone books that simply follow the pack regardless of their own action which is, in our opinion, a recipe for disaster. In some cases, our lines on favourites or overs will be higher. This is not a gouge, but rather an honest attempt to balance action.

In addition, please note that we do not bet, we book, and our business model is geared towards maintaining a knowledgeable customer service staff that patiently assist those that need it 24/7 and maintains the highest level of security for your finances and personal information.

The book you choose to wager with depends simply on what you prefer. If you prefer to place high limit wagers with reduced juice, then a book with higher limits may best suit your needs. If our limits suit your needs and you prefer our bonuses and customer service, we are here.

If there is anything else we can help you with, please let us know.
    Best regards,

    Customer Service

You may have missed out on some huge Poker prizes, Sports events, and Casino jackpots!

I find it amusing that they portray Bodog as a site for 'recreational gamblers'... I did not know that such an animal existed!

Their final line is an all out belly-buster and HUGE OXYMORON!

    events, and Casino jackpots!"

Beware of who you sign up with - ya might feel really JAMMED...

One other item worthy of mentioning:
1-877-263-6422 is supplied for support, but whenever I called it - all I received was a 'fast-busy' signal.

I would not recommend Bodog to any of my friends... Sad that it's a Canadian company...

After this and how Bodog accepted me as a player and then informed me they had no deposit options, I am so not impressed by BoDoggy Dog. If they were to being allowing payments from Thailand again I would only use them if I was absolutely out of A+ though B- books. In other words, the chance of using them is Zilch.
