    line movement before bet confirmation
A couple of times I've tried putting a bet for a few thousand dollars at various books, and after I put the amount and the server updates the "to win" amount, but before I confirm, the line moves against me. Of course, it could be just bad timing. But I wonder if books have functionality to look at wager amounts before confirmation and use that info to decide to move a line from under a player. Any thoughts?

Does the line rollback if you don't accept the new odds?

@OP: Did I get you right? You are thinking bookies are adjusting lines when somebody types in some numbers in the bet amount field? Imagine how easy it would be to manipulate lines in your favor this way. I guess in your case it was just a coincidence and bad timing.

@turbobets: I've never seen the lines go back if I don't confirm new line.

@lonnie55: I suspect you're right and it's coincidence... wanted to see if anyone else noticed this.

@evo34: It last happened at bookmaker, but I think I've seen it elsewhere too.

Yes it is 100% possible for them to move the line on you if they have your account flagged as a steam chaser (typically done by small shops) I can assure you that Bookmaker doesn't practice this tactic since they welcome sharp action anyway and never move their line without a wager taken. Try getting a wager in at Betcatalinasports after account has been flagged by their risk management. Might be lucky to get 6 wagers in a year over at that shop.

Change of price is normal think is nothing strange here if bookmaker is not happy about you they rather limit your stake then lower your price.
