I bet ave 150 game (dont mess with totals) no teasers or exoctic bets, except parleys ,play parleys everyday day usually ( 4- 7 ) teams looking for big score. I will step my straight wagers up to a dime when cash flow is good and i really like the play.

Dont like losing, what type of player am i and what online book is best for me, currently have an acct dont want to mention name also have a local chinaman who i have beat up this year and is not taking anymore nba or mlb action thanks

i hear the term rec player that books use, when i think of rec player , this is the guy who wants to have fun gambling does not expect to win much and is ok with depositing money ( no wonder books want rec players)

A rec player is a consistent loser , sportsbooks are always looking for rec player leads, if you win consistently some books cut you off, even confiscate your money and justify their actions by branding you a non rec player. For example, "Oddsmaker' does this quite often.

i would say rec player is the one who bets irrespective of odd price compared to markets.

non-rec player checks prices and bets on the site which provides best price. this is what books dont like.

well, any book prefers losing players, just as you would prefer all your wagers to win. it is not anything unnatural.

Generally if you don't know what rec player is, then you probably are, and you should have nothing to worry about. Just have fun betting.

This is business, nothing more than that, books looks for players that doesn't care about the odds and just do their bet, buy their pizza and sit in front of tv to watch the game... Professional bettors are not welcome, but in the end of the day, who cares... The doors are always open to new rec players and the sharps will always take advantage from it.

I would say a rec player is a guy that waits until the day off the game to bet and only bets the four major sports (NHL, MLB, NFL or NBA).

Guys max betting FIBA, small soccer leagues, 1st halfs, team totals, 2nd halfs, season win totals and props books consider non recreational.

I am a rec player. I win more than I lose, but I bet so little (100-200 a week during the NFL season) that I am small beans. During the NHL playoffs , I have been live betting but no more than 30 or 40 a game consisting of a lot of 1 dollar and 2 dollar bets. I have been winning a lot more than I lose these playoffs. But then again, I bet so little that it doesn't matter to the betting companies that I win more often than I lose. Sometimes, I just do it to add a little spice to games I have no major rooting interest in.

If you are betting parlays, and win a decent amount on them, and not consistantly taking top price on your selections or betting on obscure sports, then chances are you will find your limits raised rather than cut - more so if you are winning, as the book will likely see you as lucky and will want you to get over confident and up your stakes after a big win...thereby helping you lose the lot back and more !
