    DC withdrawal ... HELP Please!

    Are Americans just screwed?

OK, so I've been at this online stuff for about 18 months. A year ago I got shutoff by a D-. With the help of SBR and some patience I finally received a check 3 months later. No fees for deposit. No fees for withdrawal. Non grata win % to high.

So, now I've smartened up (?) and I deposit at an SBR A+ via CC. My bank hits me for 5% fee ($50) for foreign transaction. I guess I can't blame that on the book. I grind out some profit and head to the cashier. I think it was like $40 for a check. "Good news sir you are aligible for a free withdraw via DC". Utility bills, drivers licenses, credit applications, 3 weeks and the DC shows up. In the meantime my account gets hit for a $25 activation fee. Chat ... "Oh sir that is a one time activation fee". Me ... "OK well if that's what it takes and it's one time then ok".

DC arrives. Note there are 13 charge backs of which I've excluded the < $5 ones. Kind of like if you accidentally place the card in your wallet backward $1 fee.

    Activation fee $5
.... humm I thought this was already taken once for $25?

    Monthly admin fee $5
    ... OUCH!

    Inactive fee (60 days) $10

    Statement $15
... let's hope they don't choose to randomly send one monthly

    Card Cancellation $10

    Charge Back $35 ... ???

Do I just absorb the activation, admin, and cancellation and cash it out? Cancel it and eat the loss and then pay for the check?

I'll bet guaranteed I've had circa a 1.5K vig and fees at risk. Tough enough tio win but then this.

I'm obviously a recreational gambler as obviously if I was betting thousands this extortion wouldn't bother me.

    Advice appreciated.

Now that you have already paid the extra set-up fees, you might as well keep the card active. I also went with the DC rather than pay the huge check fees from Bookmaker. You are correct, this "free" method is not quite free. However, once set-up with the DC I can now withdraw at a cost of 1% ( w/d $2500 -- cost is $5 per w/d, plus another $5 in w/d fees from bank and card per each $600 which totals $25 altogether -- not counting any monthly fee of $5 or inactivity fee ). I would suggest that you go ahead and cash out your w/d, and then just sit on the card - if you want another w/d later, using the card will be a lot cheaper than any other method. If you never use it again -- they can't get any more money out of you.

Thanks for your time BD. Inactivity and monthly charges kind of defeat "sitting on the card" don't you think? That's why i was thinking of cashing out the DC and canceling and worrying about it later if I ran it up again. Just seems like our options are dwindling and less attractive as time passes. BOL.

Care to elaborate a little more Mike. It would be appreciated. Overcoming the juice is challenge enough without all these fees. They may force me to increase my unit size or bail to my local with less options. Thx.

Specific methods are not supposed to be discussed here.

Since you're a recreational gambler, I'd switch to 5Dimes or Heritage. Reduced vig and one free payout per month.

Thanks JD. Didn't realize I was doing anything I hadn't seen elsewhere here many times.

Weird the mind of a gambler. Plus $$ at 2 places. Made a small dep at 5D and couldn't hit a bet. Superstitious one here.

How much are you gambling with? If you aren't a real high bettor doing everything P2P will keep things simple and you won't have to provide any paperwork.

P2P is the perfect fit for you.
Go with those mentioned offering one free per month.

Win a couple games and the superstitions will fade. :-)

    Best of luck

I hv thus 2 pic files to prove that:

    a) my bet slip @ www.855win.com had won an NBA sportsbook bet of Over 202.5 but in settlement it was given another result so I am shortchanged by the bookmaker. can anyone highlight this matter to 855win.com for me please?
