Small time books got buried last night?

any are soon going out of business. They took a beating on Kentucky. Time will tell.

I wondered if they took the cues of the most respected books in the industry and continued to lower the Kentucky line to incite more betting from the public? Seems like small-time books would try to even out the money by moving their lines the other way, giving more points to Kansas. Who knows, maybe smaller books did...I could see bookies having to do a lot more adjusting.

Some books might not be able to keep the lights on much longer.

If this is true, then they deserve to fail. They were the ones who let the action go heavy on Kentucky without changing the line. If they want to gamble, they need to be able to pay for a loss. A simple rule that they like to exploit the gamblers for not following, and they can't follow it themselves.

Some have really bad business models. Destined to fail.

Unlike Kentucky hoopsters..... Bookies are not "one and done".
