Wanting to get money into Matchbook...

I'm a U.S. resident and am having trouble getting money into matchbook. They won't take any of my debit/************ so I need to find a new option. The below books are ones that can transfer into matchbook but I don't have an account an any of the ones below. Do any of the ones below widely accept American ************/debit cards? Any help would be great. Thanks

Bookmaker/Betcris has very high fees for book to book transfer. You should make sure that Matchbook would cover that cost before you go the Bookmaker/Betcris route.

I'm only looking to put $100-$200 into matchbook. I assume the fee's are going be a bit high for a wire when I plan on starting small and working it into something respectable. Thanks for the help.

Wamu used to offer free wire trasnfers. I have not done one since it became Chase. You can check if that is still available.

Unfortunately they only offer commission credits on wire transfer fees for deposits of $1000 or more.

It seems the best U.S. bank for initiating wire transfers online is the one referred to as "Shitty." As their website states, they cannot accept wire transfers from BkofAma.

The only real deposit options are wire transfer or the ******** (or competitive equivalent) prepaid credit card. The ******** card is technically considered a credit card, so MB will credit the 4.9% standard fee in the form of commission credits on any deposit amount. It kind of pisses me off because I initially funded my MB account with a $500 wire transfer (for which I was charged $520 by my bank) and credited only $485 after the intermediary bank fee. They can offer commission credits on a $50 credit card deposit but not on a $500 wire transfer.

I am interested in learning more about the ******** option. What are the fees like for getting the card, loading the card, and using the card? Is there a monthly fee you need to pay for the card? Thanks for the info.

I ordered the card off their website and wasn't charge anything to get it. It costs $2 to fill the card if you go to a ******** reload center or you can load from paypal for free, which takes 3-5 days. When you transfer the money to matchbook ******** would charge you 1.00. All things considered very reasonable.

fedex11204, for using your Chase debit card, do you follow the credit card link under cashier? Does Chase charge any fees for the transaction? Does Matchbook credit you with the 4.9% fee in commissions? Thanks for your help. I should be getting a Chase debit card soon, since Wamu is becoming Chase.

You can now use the Gold-pay e-wallet to fund your Matchbook account. It's pretty simple, create a free Gold-pay account, fund your Gold-Pay account by **, **, Xoom transfer or wire. Then go to www.matchbook.com and load your Matchbook account using Gold-Pay. I have created another thread onthis that has more information as well. I hope that helps.
