Why does Bookmaker get such rave reviews?

They don't accept Skrill (Moneybookers) which to me usually signifies a book that wants to make it a pain in the ass to withdraw. They charge a fee if you deposit over $300, their withdrawl methods are $25 and most charge a percentage of your winnings as well.

I know the ratings are mostly about being good customer service and honest about paying out etc, but I just wonder what they can possibly do in order to attract such high ratings? Am I missing something?

I asked why they don't use Skrill, and they flat out said it was none of my business but that they don't use it anymore. Not exactly polite.

Because they don't steal and they take big bets. But I also don't play there because they don't deal with e-wallets anymore.

Well for 1 they are pretty much one of the top books out there. U can trust your entire savings with them. If u haven't figured out how to best use them i cannot help u. They give out reload bonuses all the time no matter winner or loser, have a loyalty program.

The way they drag their ass on payments at times now, and the douchey customer service reps, they'd be a B or B- ten years ago.

But today they are safe, so that makes them an A for most at SBR

    Sad

Safe and high limits. Invaluable to a large player. Important to smaller players.

5dimes has higher limits. They have a list of their limits for all sports but the actual limits are lower than what they claim.

Several gambling sites indicted for moneylaundering all stopped accepting Skrill within weeks of each other.

ok I just read they mark bets via CC as a purchase and that they absorb all fees. I know 5dimes shows up as a book store (lol) on CC transactions, so you can even use gift cards on them (which the cards usually dont allow)

can anyone who has paid via CC tell me what Bookmakers payment shows up as when paying via CC?

While I may have been uninterested in them before, I just realized they have a free withdraw every 7 days via Eco Card. I must've glossed over that part, and the customer service rep neglected to mention it.

Might just hafta check them out after all..

scratch that! briefly chatted with "Louis" and the Eco Card has fees of like $4.95 for every $500 and a max balance of $2500. So, it's not quite free. I curiously asked why they don't just use Skrill when it's used by almost all other books.

Louis: I know , but right now moneybookers is not an option Sir
jeff: could you explain why it isnt?
    Chat session has ended.

Nice customer service bro. Don't ask if I have any further questions, just cut me short and leave.

I'm with Bookmaker, but I'm not sure why. They don't do anything exceptionally well and I have run up on limits a couple times.

(Might say they all went bust, but were all processing that other most popular e-wallet but not Skrill prior to going bust - rumor was Skrill was not working with indicted companies).

The the next major indictment came about -

    Doyles Room
    True Poker

(which now seem closer tied to Bookmaker than they did at time so that might be why).

And then all other brands we do know are tied to them including their site.

What's in common with sites that accept one popular e-wallet and not the other - all were indicted for moneylaundering. It's speculative but the patern is there.

Meanwhile the brand that sperated itself and obtained a Malta license still accepts Skrill.
