    I used to work in NYC, has to be NY
    I have often overheard Wall Street types on their cells at 5pm say "yeah, gimme the Yanks -165, 20 timer"
    I mean often I would over hear such conversations.

    I used to have to work weekends sometimes, there is a Blarney Stone on 6th Ave that had to do at least 5 figures in parlay cards alone, I would duck into the Blarney at 3pm on a Saturday, you could find three bookies either at the end of the bar or in the back room, 8 big screen going with out of town games, bar packed..............

    Here on the Jersey Shore, everyone gambles....Prob get it from North Jersey/NYC attitude and also Atlantic City influence to the south

    When I went to school at South Carolina, plenty of locals and college students bet on football (especially college football) but not that much on other sports
