    Withdraw from sports books

    Hello all... I am a casual online gambler. I place a few bets here and there and usually cash out $1500.00 one or 2 times per year. I typically select to get a priority mailed check (last one was sent from a bank in Tokyo.) Is this safe? Any potential red flag at my banks for this deposit? Any advice is appreciated. Trying to do the safest and right thing with this.

    in canada the bank would put the check on hold, 5 to 10 days, depends on the amount and currency
